i remember years ago these were considered the best of the best for bootlegs

These KO Black Series clone troopers on AliExpress. They are pretty much exactly the same quality as Hasbro's, and in some ways better like when it came to the Phase II helmets. Plus they tackle units that Hasbro will never get around to doing which that alone makes them worth getting.

Recently bought a KO Storm Collectibles Mike Tyson. Aside from some obvious things like lower quality moulding (The heads mainly) and some slightly spotty paint it really doesn't feel that far off from an official. YMMV but for $33 I'm pretty satisfied. Helps that I was also able to check the figure out in person before I paid.
