Its because dragonborn was invented so normie players could play a lizadfolk. Dragonborn is basicly 2m buff human with scales, in the nulore they dont have tail, no beastial legs, just so you can be most confortable as possible when you roll one.

My PaB order arrived today finally so I can show the duck I had to omit from the side build photo, here he is next to a ship I expanded from the knights kingdom rogue knight ship with most new pieces coming from other knights kingdom sets, I want to add a sail to the rigging but I'm not sure how to make one, I have spare cloth, but not sure of the best approach

I remember back in like 2000 when Ive played warhammer 1st ed and my friend which played a slayer (he got like 40+ sessions on his character) got both of his legs pulverised. He fell down a mineshaft and we somehow rescued him. He didnt want to retire him and kept playing this char because he got so bounded to him over the years. He got wooden pegs that cut his speed to one and got some maluses to dex. His char perishedafter few sessions, but it was quite awsome anyway. Now people are afraid to play anything that is risky for their character, i legit had some folks giving up on Call of Cthulhu just because they heard its a system where your pc can die very easly.

But it's actually a good idea. One of my biggest beefs with modern sets is all the God dang hearaids and over representation of women. If they gave us double sided male/female heads with a majority of sets, we wouldn't have this problem. Half the Imperial soldiers in the Eldorado Fortress set were women, rather ridiculous. If they were double sided male/female we the consumers wouldn't be stuck with over representation and instead it would be one less thing yo bitch about. I don't see how it's a bad idea. The only thing I can see problematic about it is for potentially bald characters having a second head on their back, but that's already an issue eith double sided faces that are just different expressions. Personally, I'd rather the male/female choice over two expressions of the same person, specifically because they always force too many women into sets that shouldn't have them

Looks like dark bluish gray but I can't tell for certain. If it is, they pop up a lot in bins from 2010s because of pic related. All of the pieces in that set except for the dishes and minifigs are chaff so the dark bluish gray dishes are the only thing that stick out.

They have a very distinctive color palette and scaling shared between all city sets which sometimes makes sense and sometimes doesn’t, and in this case doesn’t lend itself well to the sense of “frontier” and “cramped” and “hostile”. This is true, there are sets like the lkc, which are ridiculously big and expensive, but are still play sets. But there are also small sets like which are 100% dust collectors like the brickheads. There are even some that are kind of in between like the Star Wars dioramas, which are designed as dust collectors but seem like they could still be played with easily, not that it would get around the issue of how overpriced they are

Normally I’d shit on left but from a budgeting perspective if left is cheaper id rather have that. Hard to say with these classic sets though. As a bang for your buck element of a fantasy you’d construct arguably fewer details are better so long as the form remains intact. Dude on Facebook is selling the 5 Islander sets here for $390. This isn't the picture, but all his pics are of the individual sets and I wanted to just show them all at one.

Says they are dusty and maybe missing a few pics, but looks complete. The sails on all ships look in tact and I think all minis are there.

When I was a kid I put potted plants around the Enchanted Island to enhance the jungle vibe. But what makes that theme really pop is just the promo art. If you don't really have the money, you shouldn't really go for it. Safe for the minifigs, feathers, sails and baseplates, most of it could be MOCed with generic pieces.

Speed Champions is great as long as they keep it to retro cars with blocky designs. All these new cars with complex organic shapes look terrible and rely too much on stickers.

As a kid, I used to take these clear goblets and put the gem inside it and then stick it to the bottom end of a lightsaber to make a "super lightsaber". They looked cool, especially with he old chrome lightsabers.

I dunno man, a coolass unique Blacktron fig (even if it does reuse a capeshit helmet) is way better than a character in a game for autistic children, so I think I can let it slide.
