Speaking of recolours, bless the people still making custom coloured eyestalks. Bionicle was really hurting for eye colour diversity after '05/'06.

Fucking sweet. Still waiting on Socketball to send along some masks I ordered, but the only other bootleg masks I've bought so far are some of CreativeMechanics' fanfic ones.
Some defective kanohi would be fun for MOC purposes. Related, considering we're nearly a fucking decade out, do we have a solid design for the MoUP that is being made? I'm looking and the BuryusForge one on etsy looks solid

I know there's always been talk about 'The Dream', but has anyone actually experienced it? Like, we've all seen Bionicles for sale in small stores at some point, but it's always guys who know the real price of those things sealed so they're 300 dollars for a Mint Toa Nuva or something stupid. Surely someone's come across a store where they're just selling bionicles RSP, right?

kind of but it wasnt long enough after stars so it barely counts, but I discovered a semi "hidden" shop that was basically desperately trying to get rid of their entire glatorian/ glatorian legends era canisters and whatnot at a discount

The dreams I have always involve me going to some out of the way store in bumfuck nowhere and just happening to find old bionicles that they never finished selling from way back when. Gets less and less believable the more years pass, but I never really think of that during the dream itself

My father who is also a toy collector for Gi Joes, He-Man and such has had "The Dream" too albeit for his cherished toys. For the dream always has fully stocked self from many different years but also some completely new ones that I have never seen before. In terms of finding stores with random sets, I am sure it will only be less and less likely as time goes on. I once saw a boxed Shadow Takanuva about 5 years after he retired at a local second hand store. They wanted I think $10 for it but I didn't have money on me.
