With 1/12 essentially having won the scale wars, why did it win? It lacks the same worldbuilding aspects smaller scales do, you’ll get small things here and there, but when they attempt something larger, the black series tie fighter or snowspeeder, they pegwarm. I don’t get why people collect black series when the big draw to me with Star Wars is the locations and ships. It’s like hasbro is just using the same tired corporate playbook of, acquire license, release 6 inch scale figure line, line fails, repeat. I mean it just makes me stop and wonder WHY? What does 6 inch offer that 3.75 doesn’t? Is it because it’s the only option? I genuinely don’t see how you can prefer it.
