It's sort of a dick move but if you've ever regretted selling something and had the opportunity to go back in time to stop yourself...wouldn't you? Sometimes you just don't realize it until it's too late (already shipped) and other times you can catch it in time and just give the person their money back rather than deal with regret for life.

Can't say I blame the guy. I wouldn't honor it either because the few things I sold for cheap and later regretted selling have caused me constant mental trauma for years. I will never forgive myself for those mistakes and honoring some deal with a stranger over prioritizing my own mental health.

But yeah, it sucks on your end too. I empathize.

Barely any articulation despite the joints and limbs fall-off easily. Not worth retail price--gashapon figures are miles ahead than these figures DESU. I literally threw them in the trash.

I'd rather buy an open toy with a guarantee all parts are there than a new toy that could be missing shit. If i'm buying from a store with a good return/refund policy that's one thing but on the aftermarket I want a guarantee it's complete. Also Max Factory won't help you if you don't buy from an official partner shop (see: AmiAmi, HLJ, Anime Island, etc)

I always take high quality pictures from all angles and put my personal guarantee on what I sell. When you buy from me you will know every tiny paint flaw, joint tolerance, etc. I think the extra effort and assurances is worth some extra compensation for the more discerning collector. Most people including this guy don't put in that effort though so they are riskier to buy from and thus deserve to be paid less.
