The door doesn't actually fold open - you have to pop the top and reposition it to open and close, but you can see the driver's seat from outside the doorway, and that's the important thing.

Thanks! I'm probably going to lower the passenger seats a little bit, and maybe raise the driver's seat. Like all my vehicles, I just built it freeform and kludged things together until it looked like a thing, but I haven't put any minifigs in it yet to see how they sit.

Did some minifig tests on muh bus

Turns out that two plates + the seat puts the fig at just the right height to rest their arm on the window sill. Unfortunately, it also means that they're a little higher in relation to the glass than I want.

I don't think a Hulk body would suit Jasper very well. Hulk sort of hunches over, while Jasper stands tall. I think a partially brick-built version with mixel joints would work better, such as Groot or pic related.

Made a quick blockout of what I mean separate from the rest of the model. It's actually two 1x3 plates and a 2x4 underneath to reach the second pair of 1x1 plates, but those could easily be removed and the 2x4 replaced with a 2x2 for a more compact design.

It seems like something that would rely pretty much entirely on how new the pieces are and now much clutch they have. I could brace something underneath, but it's the bottom of a vehicle and if I go even one plate lower not only does it look like shit but I'm really cutting it close on ground clearance- the previous design I had figured out used unbraced old-style hinges and I realized that shit wasn't gonna cut it.

The worst part is how it only really seems to be the front part of the belly and the leftmost nurse's face. That gunk could've easily been cleaned up but the builder was too lazy to do anything. I don't see how it's really offensive though, the image is technically completely unrelated to anything involving fetishes. It's about on the same level as any other vignette or diorama featuring something "nasty".

Bionicle parts could work if you're going for bigger scales, like ships themselves or other bigger-than-a-man machinery, but if you're going for something like the alien in the picture Bionicle parts will probably be much too big for the job, though again this will depend on the scale.
A lot of people manage to make relatively small articulated figures using bar connections, though we've also had that dude posting his actionfigs lately. If you were up for using mixel towballs you could probably get something at least close in shape.

Bonkle joints'd give you good flexibility and could provide relatively good stability if the UFO itself isn't too heavy.

Snap hinge joints'd be less flexible but could be more stable, though this'd also depend on whether you're using the system snap hinges or the Knights Kingdom style hinges.

If stability is a concern, there are both System and Technic "piston" joints could help.

As someone who works retail, 10% is usually nice and easy for people to put through. They don't care enough about shifting it to do you a better deal than that.

Probably because their foot traffic is good enough that they're pretty sure they can shift it at that.

But yeah, it doesn't usually work out asking for a discount on something that isn't actually marked down. I mean, still do it, since you might get lucky, but you'll probably just be quoted 10% off, which if you shop around you can probably get elsewhere (ONLINE). You've gotta wait till people get sick of something hanging around on the shelves and just want it gone.

In context that lady is just an aspect of life aboard a vaguely depressing space station, M31-P5. Human labor is needed across known space in a constant, steady supply, and cloning isn't quite as good of an alternative because of the old "all copies share the same flaws" thing. To this end a system is set wherein several people are used to produce loads of human babies which are then shipped about to act as labor elsewhere.

I managed to build the ball the minifig parts are mounted on, it's pretty simple to figure out. You can actually see the same assembly used in the big story the pic actually features from, in which a reporter explores the space station's workings.

I'm trying to pick pieces that will be nice ornaments in mocs, but I usually don't leave that many exposed studs on anything I build. I also tend to build small mocs. I might use them for small vehicles, robot ans armored suits, things like that. But if you have good ideas for them let me know.

I don't want to get the milky-white pieces or the grey pieces. I thought I'd pick the 4x4 red and black plates, or the grey and green, but I doubt I'd have a use for them.

I will select something as the pieces I'm trading them for are way less useful.

You may want to consider using differently colored studs on the mouthes, as they are now they're fine but breaking up the tan with some other colors can help. TKH often uses pink or red for closed mouthes, IMO dark tan could work as well. White could also work if you want a smile.
