>>5918224>light up visorAbout 4 years ago I had every MU figure there is up to that point including variants and exclusives.
That line is awesome if for no other reason than its amazingly comprehensive selection of characters they covered.
Eventually I got tired of the scale and sold them all off. I moved on to Legends and then sold most of them off too..now I just collect the ones I absolutely "need" because I simply don't foresee a better version of the character coming.
Marvel legends have several obvious strengths and weaknesses. Like MU the character selection is great and they are very affordable. Everyone knows their QC and overall engineering could be much finer but I can look past that at the price point.
The whole point of my blog post is that there has always been something that bugs me deep down about the ML line and I only recently realized what it is.
The lack of gimmics. A lot of collectors hate them these days but that's because they're usually obtrusive to some other aspect of the figure but with today's technology we should really be getting cooler shit.
Swappable parts are cool and I have become really partial to effects parts, but it's still not the same. There is a serious lack of light up eyes and chests, removable masks, and moving parts like faceplates and panels. More non humanoid forms definitely wouldn't hurt either.
>picture related, probably the object that ignited my passion for figures
