That could be....interesting. The AT-AT Walker is my favorite of any of the Imperial/First Order ships/vehicles.

I have 2-3 of the Mini AT-AT Walkers, but those just arent going to work for my battlescape.

That's a good idea. Get black frames and it should do. Maybe try to make window stills as well so the whole buidling will be less a block.

goddammit, Wanted to do some pics of how the new 'old' style flames fit perfectly in those technicpin stoppers used as exhausts.
But phone decided i was done before taking pics of the actual rears of the model a and beetle. The thing has literally under a minute worth of battery when the camera is on. I can't handle that pressure man.

i tried doing a similar thing a little while ago but on a smaller scale (sort of), it's more like a police post than a full-out police station. the building next to it is a post office branch

i tried to match the architecture with the other modular buildings so i went for a pretty basic art deco kind of design. it's part of my main display now and i'm too lazy to separate it but i might have some pictures of the interior if i fish around a little

Probably because technic never really had a single standard scale. Models can be really small or really large and still underscaled for them. It caused more limits than that it added probably.
If you like character interaction there are minifigures and system that are more manageable in terms of scale and price. Most technic people were more interested in working functionality and stuff than an immersive world and pretty detailing.
It's a shame though, model team was a really impressive line that married the two very well.

Because Lego spent a billion dollars on market research and finally came up with a product that they could sell to girls. For decades, Lego had been trying to tap dat girl market, but all their efforts were low on returns. Homemaker seemed to work decently enough because girls like building klocki just like boys, but that was back in the seventies and they were unable to hold enough of a girl market to bother. Despite Paradisa's meme status, the line wasn't very successful at bringing girls in. Neither were Belville, Scala, or Clikits.

Girls love the shit out of minidolls, though.

From what the Lego Store peons who post in the /lg/ say, Friends/DisneyPrincess/Elves sets are their main sellers. Most department stores with a Lego aisle now have a separate pink-and-purple aisle that's entirely full of girl Legos. Ten years ago that would have been a ludicrous dream for TLG.

Like i have this unopened belville polybag with all these amazing colours and wacky parts and the packaging is absolute surreal madness and i love the shit out of it as curiosity of my favourite company and from a modern art-perspective. But for 99% of kids it's mainly very confusing.

Does Lego become brittle eventually? I bought a bag filled with technic Lego at a flea market but a lot of parts seem to be broken or break easily. Even those big yellow things.

Yes, even Lego can break. One of the more famous examples being Bonkle sets of the past, but it has gotten worse.

But I don't think I've ever seen those thick liftarms break. That lot must've taken quite a bit of abuse.

All my old parts have been in outdoor storage for several winters and summers. Naturally it's not just a shack or anything, but there's still some temperature changes.

I would want an Egypt theme,but seeing lego making a lot of scientific themes for city I think it will be a City subtheme.
I want a space theme so bad! And an Aztec theme would be nice(but will probably never happen).

Well I didn't word that well they essentially made up up some bullshit scenario in the vid caption. They claimed I was attempting to hit on one and I suggested that she was underaged but I would sneak her in, and that they wanted to call the police but I begged them not to. All you see on the video is me looking at them skeptically and asking if the ID is the older sister. I didn't think it was her because the bitch was like 60 lbs lighter than the picture easily. I've learned as a door guy its best not to let shit get to you. Fighting customers is a lot easier than the constant talking down to. Fucking evil whores have to slander me. At least I spend money on lego now and not cocaine.

You don't necessarily need to take legal action. Find a cease and desist letter and add the word 'slander' to it and it'll scare them into deleting the post.
