I tried being part of a community. I really thought my area was under served. I still can't find shit. I wanted to help. But I can't, for the life of me, move any of this "rare" stuff. People won't touch Marvel Legends over $10. They come up and try to cherry pick the rare that's on eBay for $50 so they can flip it.
Somebody with a community mentality might buy two or three of the others I was just trying to get my $16 back out of to go along with that rare that I'm happy to take retail for if they wouldn't stick me with 7/8 of a case in the process. I mean, _I_ buy more than one toy from dealers when I get a break on something I really want. But God damn, nobody else seems to think that way. It's never ending lowballing and making a scene when I literally can't accept.
A community would let somebody go "hey, I bought a case, but I only want Dazzler, anybody else want the rest" and not get killed instead of "lol no ill wait for clearance at Ross" or "I'll drive all over fucking Colorado like a retard because $6 shipping is rape."
This card bending crusade is a really sad excuse for "community."
