We've been told multiple times by Hasbro before that they budget their paintjobs by wave instead of by figure, It's probable that painting Dinobots is simply cheaper because you only need the same set of color for all of them and the less different colors the more you can have of each individual color.

I love that his face sculpt is the exact one used for the Swoop Titanmaster.

I know most of /toy/ shits all over Warden, but he's 3 for 3 as far as I'm concerned. This trilogy is probably the best one made. Just wish the plastic quality was better. Regardless, anyone who doesn't think this line is fun should probably stop collecting TF's.

I'm torn on the Dinobots.
For one they are cool in concept and are the closest transformers have got to putting dragons into the series without shitting it up, for two I forgot how terrible the kibble was on them.
That shit is disgusting but that's just how they are and these are the closest HasTak has ever gotten to making a complete and accurate team. And thank Goldner's Molech idol that Warden would choose to be accurate now, you guys, when I wanted a team of acceptably accurate Combaticons all I got was Sony's The Swindle, mustard Movor, gray Vortex, and PS1 Brawl.

anyway the reason why they made Alpha Bravo was to give the line some diversity in alt modes and also get some more use out of the Vortex tooling. a helicopter gives you a bit more to work with than a bunch of gray, black, and white jets all at once.

I have 3 versions of Devastator, Classics, SDCC, and Combiner Wars for generations alone. I also bought The Target Exclusive Devastator that was the build team repaint along with Big Convoy Nemesis Prime and then i went to Kaybee and bought Micromaster Devastator. I've also got the green and purple version of movie devastator that combines.

And you know what? I want a fucking G2 Devastator repainted from the Combiner Wars both yellow AND orange styles.

Yet hasbro keeps releasing starscream, optimus, and other crap. Give the people what they want give them Action master Devastator!

MP Prime has thinner and taller antennae that aren't as connected to the helmet, and he doesn't have faceplate detailing exactly like that, and also MP-10's faceplate is much wider

In IDW, a Pretender shell really is not the same as an exoskeleton.

The Magnus armor, for one thing, was developed thousands of years - maybe millions - before Pretenders were developed.

His armor makes him more powerful - obviously - but it is not comparable to a Pretender's abilities.
