I just realized the reason the Hasbro version has that ugly as fuck plain white Decepticon badge is because purple wouldn't show up well on dark blue, and Warden is too much of a jew to spring for a dual colored tampographs with an outline. I guess that shouldn't surprise me given the fact that they've sunk to using stickers on Voyagers.

The only thing that looks worse is the chest hole required for the Targetmaster. Literally everything else is far better and more than makes up for it.

Honestly, calling people who buy from one branch or the other of the same company Hasbrocuck/Takaracuck doesn't make any sense. And not even because of that "elite internet liberal Maddox thinks you want to get laid and cuck has no meaning" argument but because the people that buy from one or the other will often have enough money to pay for either and aren't settling for something on company mandate or some bullshit like that.
I like the toy colors with the shitty 80s colorful squares over a silver background look more than any of the cartoon decos so I've been buying Hasbro for most of Titans Return, but I would've bought all the voyagers from Takara if they stopped doing that stupid shit with the titan master sleights being packed separately from their head at random; that's just scummy IMO. Still, there's barely any difference in price between Hasbro and Takara if you aren't a retard and order your Legends stuff from HLJ.

People that buy from Takara and think they are superior for it deserve to be killed, tho.

Couldn't find Six Shot, got this fatso instead.

Wish I could say I wasn't disappointed, but holy fuck, it's nearly impossible to stand him up in any pose and the vehicle mode has that drab, obnoxious and depressing post-AoE cheapness to it that only makes me wish he was done about half a decade ago instead. The robot sculpt and proportions are still pretty neat regardless and it was probably one hell of a design challenge to make such a chunky toy feel so articulated but god, it just feels so bland in comparison to stuff from RotF / HftD.

If the 07 Leader was remolded as a non-Movie design, just a nondescript modernized Optimus(mainly, remold the legs and toes, and shoulders, to make them seem less like movie kibble), I think he'd be one of the coolest modern Optimus designs; better than most of the IDW reimaginings, for example. He has a great blockiness and imposing presence, which quickly made him one of my favorite figures back in the day. I like Animated, but I do wish we got a line styled like Hasbro's original movie designs after 2007, like Wreckage, stockade, and the first attempt at mvoie characters in general. That blocky take on the movie aesthetic is just pleasing to me.

I still kinda wanna get the Nightwatch version to serve as a non-Optimus Prime for my other Primes collection. No idea who he'd be exactly, though.

Being a Hasbro toy designer seems like kind of a bummer. Seemingly its Hasbro who steers the rudder on a large scale; takara does their own thing sometimes but never whole lines, just smaller ones like MP or Alternity or TF go!!. Even then, they don't necessarily pander to g1 fans like so many want, the MP line is the most major example. Meanwhile, Hasbro is putting all this effort into making an updated G1 line, albeit with quirks and differences, really pushing to get all this stuff done in less than 5 years, yet people will complain and wait for the takara version.

Its not actually a bummer,though, because they get paid to make toys and have no reason to really care about the opinions of people here, but I do sympathize.

It was mention at Tokyo Toy Show that those other lines they recycle/share from Hasbro gets them more money to keep the pace they are at with MPs so I imagine without the Hasbro side still making toys for western kids MPs would have crawled to a pace of maybe two figures a year.

Oh, Hasbro is absolutely takara's sugardaddy, honestly we'd probably have seen a dozen failed attempts at redoing Brave without sunrise from Takara is Transformers wasn't so successful here. TF just has no major appeal to kids in Japan, and Takara has to make do with pandering to older collectors. Takara wouldn't be taking risks like redoing Headmaster/Masterforce characters if not for Hasbro having them make figures for them to use.

Living in Portland OR and having an irl toy communities that hang out talk and swap toys irl I never needed a fourm to chant on, what bought me here is a mix of getting older (married, kids, full time job, etc) but still wanting to see what fans of certain brands are up to and the ease of use 4chan is compared to other forums.

And i can buy only from 2 places - my online store or Ebay with rape shipping of 30-40 amerifat buks.

To be honest i never even tasted actual hamburgers. Only fake one once. (2 years ago when my mom went to capital city and brought some random hamburger)
It also kind of shocked me that hamburger had 1000 calories!

Man, I really dig Scorn. I do wish a few things had carried over from his deluxe figure, but it's ok. He almost doesn't feel like a transformer, like aesthetically. He's like something from a different toy line of heavy metal dino-knights or something. Anyone knows why the ports on the clones seem to be smaller than usual? I don't think they are for takara exclusive weapons since al 4 have 5 mil holes in their fists and the holes on their back are a bit less than 3 mil, tried a couple of stands and those don't fit either, maybe they got undersized and only the fist ports were corrected..

The main thing I didn't like about Cheetor and Primal were the lack of mold skin texture. I'm not particularly interested in Dinobot, but hopefully if they make a Megatron, his T rex skin will have that same level of detail.

Fuck, now I'm extremely tempted to grab Kup. Is it him and Rodimus that's being repacked in the final wave? After some Windblades at Wally-World downtown, it's mostly Quake/Triggerhappy/Krok at my local TRU in Canada, they downsized the TF aisle for some obscene reason. With rain checks I can probably get a deluxe for ~$14 Canadian

Might have to grab a Hot Rod to go with Kup, but the only Decepticons I own are legends-class or smaller. Not much of a challenge taking down one lone Sharkticon

Only thing that keeps me buying the takara is something about their aesthetic makes me feel its a character, while 3p, cool design, I know who they are when I look at them, but all I see is a generic robot, even the 3p not megatron despotron looks generic to me for some reason.

I would've bought it if it had the double cockpits, as it is now it's just lazy trash.
