Guys, new Frieza won't be hard to get. If you didn't get him when he initially went up, there's still plenty chance that he'll pop back in and out of stock on Amiami/HLJ/etc from time to time up until release.

On top of that, there's really no need to worry especially if you live in the US, since he'll be for the regular Bluefin retail on places like Barnes and Noble, TRU, Amazon, BBTS, etc. Worst case scenario is that you just have to wait an extra 4-6 weeks for Bluefin's distribution.

There will be plenty chance to get him, these freak outs happen every time a new figure drops, and apparently no one learns...

DBZ Figuarts sold by Amazon and not third party sellers are never more than MRSP, not to mention they usually always end up on sale.

Other than getting lucky with B&N, amazon is the best place to get them at a decent price.

Well for one Android 18 wasn't a retail release in Japan so it's preorders didn't sell out in minutes, two when it was released in NA it was in stock for quite a bit of time before finally selling out. The only reason the after market is so high for 18 is being a pbandai exclusive it won't be reissued unless they do a PC edition.

Frieza 2.0 is a retail release so Bandai can rerelease it to their hearts content, it won't be hard to get in the slightest.

They're always slower than Japanese stores. I got SHFSS W from them just fine, and it seems like they do have Skull in stock now. Although I have heard some issues with Ex-Aid releases.

But their DBZ stock is handled by Bluefin and they never seem to have any fulfillment problems there.

You won't get the rock because he doesn't come with the feet to stand on the rock. That is the biggest sign that you won't get the rock.
Also is, we never saw or heard that we're getting the rock. There's no room in the package for the rock after all the random shit they put in. It's not "I killed Krillin" Frieza where the rock was needed for the stance. And this is a newer Figuarts where they don't include shit. The fact that we're getting as much as we do is amazing. This is the same company who refuse to release a SS and base head for Goku and Vegeta except for Blue for Goku (that promptly blew up in price). You're not getting a rock.

This. The improvements on the faces and the shoulders are the main reason I'm happy to get the new figure. I don't mind losing the rock stand and the hurt face for it. I think you answered your own question.

Bunny Bulma would be fun to pose with Roshi, the figures have articulation for a reason. That Bulma we're getting is just a stand alone own piece it doesn't really have a place in the line.
There is no display or scene to recreate with that design.
Its almost like they are targeting cosplayers or something with that choice.

You can't deny Namek Bulma wouldn't be a better figure for the majority of collectors.

Don't see why it's necessary to recreate a frame pixel by pixel. This Bulma will fit perfectly with DB Goku and you can easily recreate any scene from when they journey together throughout most of DB, especially early DB

I absolutely agree, even if the figure looks lovely and I buy it gladly, maybe it doesn't appeal to the widest public a Bulma design could possibly do. Specially considering it's a desing from artwork, not directly from the story.
Anyway, I hope all goes well, and it sells very well so that we can keep getting more Bulma figures. They didn't pick this one randomly after all.

1. It does look like Bulma from DB, I don't see how it doesn't. It's not like that outfit is a fucking stretch from what her character is, a teen girl mechanic type. Looks just like a normal casual Bulma to me... You really can't picture Bulma in that outfit adventuring with young Goku? Have you ever even watched DB?

And for the record, I don't see why Goku in that outfit wouldn't fit in a DBZ collection. It would certainly stand out, but you're also comparing it to 30 other figures in the line that all have similar fighting clothes, which DB does not have.

Dude you're in denial and trying way too hard to justify your purchases. I also got the old SDCC Gokus but I'm not upset because they complete my SDCC Dragon Ball Figuarts collection.

Anyway the 2.0s are better in every conceivable way. The older figures look like they have diapers not the 2.0s. Also the joints hold up really well in the newer figures and there's better chest and knee articulation (also the knees don't look like crab leg joints). Just Buy the 2.0 Goku and don't sweat it.

But if the only reason you bought those Gokus was because you thought they were a good investment and not for collection reasons, then I'm sorry, you're fucked.

I think the only people upset are the ones that bought the convention exclusive Gokus since they could only really be had for scalper prices. I already have the original Cell Saga base Goku and the Freeza Saga and KaioKen Goku but I'm excited for this.

I just wish they had made it his Saiyan Saga uniform (yes I know the only difference are the symbols on the gi). But if they were going to do Freeza Saga Goku it would have been cooler if it was with just his blue shirt from the middle of the Freeza fight, then we could switch heads with Awakening Goku to recreate the exact moment he went Super Saiyan. Hopefully they'll do a 2.0 Saiyan Saga Goku, maybe with no shirt or just something to distinguish it from this one. If all they do is change the symbols everyone is going to be pissed.
