So, tomorrow Nov 30th in Italy we're getting the 18th LEGO Ninjago magazine. Last chapter gave us Kai, the previous one i think it was Cole. They're released once every two months, alternated with Nexo Knights.
My question is: does anyone know which minifigure we'll get tomorrow? I'm not sure I want to visit a newsstand and start browse kids magazines just to know it's some minifigure i don't want. Thanks in advance, guys

Last thread I made a lemon car, now I made a lime one. Started off with wanting to build a Dodge Challenger and I ended up with a retarded looking chibi muscle car, and I like it. What do you guys think of it?

I've had success with natural light, get up early and do some outside shots or light from the windows if you have any.
If that doesn't work, yeah light box and/or soft lights from some lamps should work.

yeah this how im doing it during Summer.
picrelate is my regular "good enough" shot where im using sunlight.
But during winter day ends so damn fast...and there is not enough light even during the most sunny hours already..

yeah im digging through light box building tutorials!

Where are these stickers from and are there any neat stick sheets that gets you a lot of sci-fi/industrial/military kind of stickers? Marks, warning signs on machinery etc. I know the exo-force sets have really good sticker sheets but are there any hidden gems out there?

That, or you can just bulk buy them. To ensure a similar style on all the minifigs in my city, I bought 40+ off them and made everyone equal. Nothing but smiles in my town. Another thing is that B&P have had baseplates, so I managed to stock up on quite a few.

It's an organizer box with a few different trays of different sized sections. Back when I first got it (age 10 or so) my loose klocki collection could fit into that, and one of the things in pic related. It was a childhood thing for me, but I would have loved to have more sorting boxes to store my klocki as my collection grew. Could never find them anywhere again

I haven't played with it much, but it was a fun build. The wings are pretty neat and it looks cool for the most part. I was really off put by the legs not bending, but that would effect posing and display more than play if you're willing to do the action figure bounce along walk. The punching arms action feature is kinda drab and it can shoot stuff. Pretty much standard playablity of mechs, but pretty big. I probably wouldn't recommend it at full price but I've seen them discounted pretty well lately.

How are the wings? I never had such lego parts before. Are they fragile? I heard Jang saying they made of vinyl...i guess its a good quality pieces?

I was thinking of using "Buildable Figure/Hero Factory" parts to make very sturdy mix of Brick Build/Bonkle-ish legs so it can stand and still look blocky... but thats an expensive set for such an "experiment"

I was going to use leg style similar to this - many peices to hold parts together so big figure will be standing with no problem and still having poseable legs.

Which is the best part - i love empty modulars because:
1) i have many ideas of how i would fill inside of this building with my own ideas
2) it makes the set cheaper which is always good

you talking like a borning person... One of those who buying big modulars to keep them on their slelf forever. So they always buy super big "normie" modulars (regular cinema/regular restraunt/regular building) with "classic :)" faces just to use them as pretty statues.

I wouldn't say the wings are fragile. They shouldn't break or tear in normal play, especially if you aren't a 8 year old tossing the thing about.

The whole this is fairly heavy. I'm not sure any sort of joints that lego makes could easily support it without the risk of falling over.

but honestly i can't see castle being popular these days just as a regular castle. As a semi-historical medieval thing.
Kids dont want "just [simple theme name]"...nor i think i want it.
We had ~30 years of simplistic fantasy/castle themes with wizards and knights in all kinds of pop culture places. Time to upgrade it.

I like the classic heads because they envoke a certain sense of style to me. Emmet I think is the perfect evolution of the classic face, keeping the solid black eyes with minimal extra details. My gripes with modern heads are the highlights in the eyes and the overuse of wrinkles, laughlines, etc. They look too organic to me this way. Perfect for fleshies, but for yellows it's offputting. Im fine with doing what i really like and being able to earn 300$ in 3 days.
The bad part of being freelancer is lack of discipline. Nobody is your boss, you dont have a shedule and etc. Its very easy to be a lazy ass...

im an artist.
Funniest part - my addiction with watching Jangbricks comes from my deepest childhood.
When im watching Jangbricks i feel like i own sets he reviewing and feel very happy.
Sort of like when i used to watch Lego Catalogs my mom was giving to me. We were poor so i had only 4 sets during 90s but every time i was going through catalog i was pretending i actually own those sets and felt a lot better!
I also was drawing sets and drawing comics about minifigures...
so..yeah... If you dont wanna your kid growing as artist - buy him fucking toys so he wont be having an idea of drawing stuff he don't have and progress further with that shit.

But what we're saying is that if you don't go through your order and check that every piece is there, you end up in a situation where you might be missing parts and be unable to get them from the seller if you wait too long to let them know about the problem.

If you DID check all your parts for accuracy, you should know which piece is the surprise.

I think it looks like shit and doesn’t go at all with the current line up. I like the figures and accessories (like the jukebox) but it will be a hard pass for me.

Disagree. The entire line screams 50s and 60s to me, from the Detectives office, the old-timey styled bank, cinema, shop, cafe, firehouse, and town hall. You just have to see the buildings as within their first years of life, instead of as buildings that were constructed decades ago.

Well that's a very generous term for just stating they can't happen today because licenses. Space isn't just limited to Star Wars and a more traditional Castle is likely to make a comeback once NK finishes. Pirates is a little harder because PotC already gives sets based on that specific time, but who knows, maybe next year they'll give us some Vikings or something.
The point is that while lisences fill an area of evergreens, they don't cover all of it and it's reasonable to think that they can coexist with other themes.
