>>7258299In terms of coloring, I don't think there's anything wrong with the weathered version, but you would be spending a lot more than you would on, say, the orange version. Now, I can't made judgment on pricing because I did buy the green box set from TFS for $470 (turned out it may have been the last one too). Now I can't speak too much on them as individuals because I wanted to get him combined a bit quickly, but I did notice that at least for Hook (I believe), his right arm was essentially a dud and just flops down. I didn't immediately notice any other major issues from the others.
The largest pain that I had was the instruction booklet lists all the transformations as from vehicle to bot, or vehicle to combine, but all the figures came packaged in their bot modes. So it took a lot of "reverse engineering" to get everyone situated just right. Whether you get the orange or the weathered version I think you're going to be satisfied with it -- either as a gestalt, or a squad of six (plus a giant pair of robot boxers).
