I also find it funny as hell that the new voyager Optimus’s legs are way fucking tighter than necessary, but his arms are laughably feeble. This gun is made out of about 1/3 of a leader figure, and will need it’s own stand just to hold it in any convincing way.

The fuck you talking about? We had a Titan Predaking, we have a Cog and Sixgun directly designed to match the Metroplex and Fortress Maximus in plastic color and texture. We had Leader Overlord. We had honest to god polls to decide what character to make. Studio Series line is even more blatant with Leader Blackout and Voyager Bonecrusher and more long-standing fan complaints.

A reliable source from Hasbro has told me that there is a Siege Arcee on the way which is an entirely new mold who uses a more androgynous design (like TR Arcee) instead of the usual CIS female body found on Chromia etc. This is to further appeal to transgender fans in which if its popular & sales are decent then more female characters will be written as transgender with there toys reflecting this.

Thoughts?

I like to keep my collection small and focused. If I ever have a figure that's boxed away long enough or carelessly enough that I lose a part, it's generally a sign that I should have probably just sold that figure in the first place.

I actually like the Titan Masters more then the Headmasters. At least with Titan Masters, you can have them run around Trypticon or other Base Mode bots without having an upside down face staring at you from their ass. The headmasters should've had at least ONE moving part to cover the face in bot mode. I also prefer the little pretender Mech Suits to the weird vehiclegunrides of the single pack Headmasters. Though I wish more of the Decepticon Prime Master suits had gun attachments and Bludgeon's suit should have REALLY had a sword instead of whatever it is he got.

This was one of the things that got me from slight annoyance to hatred.
Because Warden shit these out, people won't complain again about the lack of Pretenders even if Pretenders do deserve better and bigger figures.

I have legit never seen a fandom turn so quickly on a toy. NOBODY had a goddamn issue with him until Flywheels was revealed, and that little alarm in everyone geewunner's brain that detects accuracy levels went off, because suddenly they realized that, despite being a good toy, it was not quite as GEEWUN as it could have been, and it was because of a non-G1 deviation (individual bot modes) of all things. Just picked up Siege Optimus and Megatron, my first action figures in about twenty years. Really enjoy them, but feel like Megatron is a little underbaked compared to Prime. Some translucent red plastic in his cannon would go a long way to giving Megs more visual interest while complementing Prime's blue. M also seems weirdly huge compared to OP? Just a little too tall and broad and chunky.

Classics/Universe really weren't THAT good as a whole, they had good stuff but also not so good stuff, at least Siege is attempting to be the actual characters not weird reimaginings save for the altmodes, but altmodes are secondary to botmode

The re-imaginings would be be the ones with character as there not trying to be shameless copies of a poorly animated cartoon but instead tries to deliver something new. Also, I wouldn't rule out a tape deck mode
we know he can do the splits, and have his legs go up alongside his chest, and we know his head can hide
and then we've also got this little interesting nugget
his shoulder transforms differently than other voyagers. It seems to have a long rectangular rod that it MAY be able to slide out from, and we see him rotating his shoulder out in several shots like this.
It's possible there's more to the arms than we realize.

Fuck no. MP-18 was a gorgeous figure. The "+" alterations of removing details and using flat paints are fucking criminal. The effect parts are a decent compromise, but not worth the rest of the figure being downgraded in every way. Cartoonfags need to be gassed.

Would have probably cost a few extra bucks for the Koreans to fill in every shot, so no. There was a large scale effort just before the show went into production to simplify the existing character models so that they would be easier and cheaper to draw repeatedly to maximize profit. That's why a lot of animation models have simplified colors or missing kibble/vanishing wheels in their robot mode that makes them look different compared to the original toys.
