The dead Optimus is Studio Series 86. Studio Series is focused on media ties and robot modes in scale. Grimlock will be two heads taller than that OP mold, plus a Legends size Wheelie. Both new molds.

Is that a Voyager?

I have been waiting years for a decent Voyager Cyclonus, my favorite Decepticon. The Combiner Wars one was pretty awful IMO. Plus the fact that we never got limb-bot Seekers to combine with him, was a complete failure and wasted opportunity by Hasbro to get people to buy multiples of the same figure. Money left on the table. Shame.

That was the lamest thing, the retool was ready to roll and they never used it once, Also they could've done a head retool of the Fireflight mold and gave it a scourge head, people would buy four of it as sweeps.

This and Ecto-1 are much better than past crossovers since they got the formula right. This is familiar vehicles turning into original characters, which is the best combinations.

I've not read it all, but from what I have (up to the start of the combiner wars tie-in) of the IDW stuff he was never as focused upon as Cyclonus and Galvatron, they got spotlight issues were he didn't, he was around during the CHAOS! event but he wasn't that important and then he died. IDW 2 is putting more focus on Cyclonus over him again, I don't think he's even appeared in the new series.

I’m on a quest to rescuscitate a handful of Jetfires. I’ve already successfully brought one back to life for my kid. But waiting for random parts to hit eBay is challenging at best. At this point, I just need a few arms and interior back plates. In pic related, I have 1 complete and can squeeze 4 more out of the broken ones and the bag of parts (minus armor and guns).

3) his backpack seems to fold down rather than up

Just tried it out. The front skirt tabs into the folded up robot wrists, but definitely not out of necessity to keep them stable. The alt mode stability isn't affected at all by not having the front skirt tabbed in.

the front skirt primarily works as a gap filler, but the tabs do help keep the forarms in the right spot. The tab connecting the two of them can be rather fidgety
So not dealbreaking to remove them, but if you're a perfectionist you'll want to make a crossbar or something for the arms

I could see them rereleasing the Rumble/Ratbat set since that was recent but I doubt Ravage/Laserbeak will. But then again I suspect they want to release a Laserbeak with his g1 head eventually.

They're not amazing but I like them enough, Ravage is the weakest but I've warmed up to him over time since you can get some decent poses out of it.

You could probably easily sell the other two guys if you wanted, that's what I plan to do since I suspect there will be a decent amount of people who will buy Doubledealer and want his buddies but not Frenzy/Wingthing.

Not IDW. Cindersaur's toy uses "she" on one of the cards. Obviously a carryover from when the toy was Slash, because it also says Cindersaur is a Dinobot.
For some reason, even though other cards use he, and it's supposed to be the same guy as G1 Cindersaur, the autists take it seriously.

As an avid cosplayer, I can tell you the greatest thing I learned was to ASSUME you'll fuck up and have to replace/start over. Then when you don't you feel amazing, and when you do there's just disappointment that it's gonna take you longer.

Not really. Most people who have a giant collection that sell it do so because they have kids, or want to buy a house, and they care enough to sell or even give them away rather than throw it out.

I have a really fond memory of this guy. My barber as a kid used to put all his sons old comics out in the waiting room for the kids to read instead of magazines. This was in the 90s too so I only knew of Beast Wars until I saw some transformer comics there. I remember him roasting hotdogs with his electrical fingers in the woods with some kids and as silly and minor as that was it stuck with me.

Something magical happened recently and I actually saw some Earthrise deluxes (Hoist, Wheeljack, Cliffjumper) locally. We usually just get lower end stuff like Cyberverse/RiD and smaller movie stuff. Any of those 3 worth it? I do like the way Wheeljack looks, but if the figure itself sucks, then even looks won't save it.
