It’s actually pretty hard for someone to transition as a kid even if they’re firmly and vocally for it and have the approval of their guardians. The reason being people are often somewhat skeptical the validity of a child’s judgement or self-assessment. It’s one of the main reasons people do puberty blockers, so a kid can have more time to decide or evaluate the decision before puberty causes most of the divergent anatomical (skeletal, hormonal, secondary sexual characteristics, etc.) developments to occur and cause future transitioning to become harder/less successful.
Generally speaking of their parents or guardians aren’t on board with it, they have an insanely low chance of finding a way to be allowed to transition. (I think they might basically have to become at least partially emancipated for it to be legally allowed. Don’t quote me on that though.)
