Hey, guys!
Somebody can help me with something?
I just received my Worthy Cap, I feel like a kid because its look awesome.
But the more I see it I feel like its damaged, anybody can share pics of his legs? I feel like they are kind of "dusty"? Brown? Sepia? Its damaged and I should call the vendor or its the "damage" colors like the shield marks?
The eyes and lips in the helmet head look like it have dust too.
The more I see it, the more I feel like he is a bootleg in a original box.

The size is certainly an issue, but I think the thing that really, utterly ruined this figure is how the opening in the clothing is literally just painted on. This is just sloppy. I passed on this figure even though I actually really like Cloak and Dagger.

pretty good, since they're doing things like dropping a single card release of kingpin 8 months after the BAF series was on shelves.
Maybe in an X-men classics wave. I think the odds are good they'll do it with Rhino and Sandman too at some point.

Even if I wasn't super knowledgeable about older X-Men stuff as a kid, I at least recognized characters from the cartoon, or from trading cards.
But even as a kid I was puzzled by these randos and always figured that if they didn't even get a trading card they probably weren't that important.

30 years later a lot of these dudes are completely forgotten.

Why do people always confuse the 90s Animated Series team with the 90s comic team. Colossus, nightcrawler, Psylocke, Archangel and Iceman only appeared in one or two episodes not the entire show. Most team set ups I see have Xmen that never showed up in the 90s or Animated Series. That’s why I only collect 90s Jim Lee animated series Xmen.

There was 2 90s comic X-Men teams though, X-Men blue team(basically the animated team) that debuted in the new jim lee run and X-Men gold team(white suit storm, colossus,etc.) that continued in the Uncanny run. Both teams are 90s its just X-Men blue became more popular and overshadowed gold.

My X-men are as complete as they can be for a now. There are some villians I would like, Dark Pheonix and Strife but fuck those prices, and I'm waiting on Pyro. Everything else I want doesn't really exist yet. I want a Retro blue Shadowcat, Random, Feral, Rictor, and Siryn. An actual X-factor Wolfsbane would be great. A Longshot and Spiral 2 pack would be amazing. Besides those things and the Haslab Sentinel I'm pretty much done with this Shelf

Seeing a pic of your collection got me into collecting Marvel Legends. I hope you're happy fucker! Seriously though, I think your team setup is great. The only "missing" things are a proper Blue Shadowcat, and then I just love Magik, she is a badass. Also I feel like the Blue/Yellow Wolverine costume X-23 fits pretty well with the 90s aesthetic

I don't have mine yet, Pulse just shipped out Gwen and charged me for Spidey. I'd say from what I can see that it's a step up from the Pizza Spidey mold so that's a plus. As far as the best "centerpiece" style figure I'd say that would still have to go to the Mafex. It's just THAT good of a figure. But as far as MLs go, the Retro Spidey is probably your best bet.

That's not true at all. The head was for the Dark Phoenix figure to represent when Jean wasn't under control of the Phoenix. Putting it on the green suit Phoenix was just fan head swapping.

The Pack came with 3 heads. 2 with the Phoenix style hair, one with Dark Phoenix Eyes and one without. It also came with a head that has more neutral hairdo. The second Phoenix Hair style head is for the regular Phoenix figure. I personally only got the regular Phoenix after getting the 2 pack and never used the head the green one originally came with.

All I know is that he's the most reliable choice if I want to see a good selection of poses a figure can take and reasonably balance themeselves with, as opposed to just an articulation breakdown. So personality aside, I tend to find his reviews the most consistently useful for me.

That said, I'll definitely admit that he is some kind of goofy dope, and him not knowing how to talk is probably one of the reasons why we've only gotten confusion spread over things like the Moonstone Buck or certain particulars with the Sentinel.

It's funny because thinking about those toys and how it felt like Liefeld Ninja Turtles sort of colored my perception of what was happening to the X-Men in the 90's and one of the reasons why I was hesistant to go back to the actual comics from that era. But when when I went back and read the comics, it felt like there was some dumb stumbling points early on but then they ended up better than I remembered. And I was kind of surprised that both Liefield and Lee didn't actually stay on X-Men all that long compared to how much their influence outlasted them.

I have him. He's alright. It's one of Mezco's older offerings so the articulation on places like the ankles is kind of lacking. People reported the scales peeling off but I've had mine for a few years now without issue. Although I rarely mess with him. He's not bad but I wouldn't pay more than $60 for him.

I think the thickness was so that the claws stayed securely. I think the solution would’ve been to make the place it pegs in as thicker and the blade thinner, but I don’t think that would be practical in production.

I still can't get over the notion that he looks like some kind of gremlin with that hair. I kept thinking that I might get the AoA Wolvie and just swap out the head for one of my other unmasked heads, but in the even that might be a lot of work just to get a Logan costume that's basically just his ninja outfit that I already have but with a cool stump.

Benefits of being made from the gummiest plastic in the history of Marvel Legends I suppose is that those shoulder pads bend out the way quite easily.

That said, a new Richard Rider Nova Prime figure with shoulder armor similar to the recent War Machine would be perfect but I'd honestly be happy with a re-release of the one we have with better plastic.

If it’s scale creep being the issue, then the legs and torso would contribute the most to the figure being too big. Which he is, because they just reused parts they already had. I wouldn’t make Punisher out to be the same size as Luke Cage personally.

And fans of this brand laugh at Marvel Legends for having unpainted elbow pins? I can see the whole elbow section of the arm here much bigger than a pin and it is unpainted.

Not criticising the figure. It looks awesome, elbows and all, but talk about beams in you eye. I think these nuances are acceptable on a Figuarts or on a much cheaper Marvel legends.

Scratch the last question, my main concern is just finding a Spider-Man that would be a optimal fit for the image I posted. I don't care for the Mafex Spider-Man and it's diaper problems and proportions and I'd rather avoid that Spider-Man at all costs. Thanks in advance.

Not only did I tell people who were going to answer my original question that I didn't want and I didn't care for the Mafex Spider-Man, but even if I wasn't willing to deny it off the bat, what still warrants me purchasing it exactly? Because some youtuber had some onions-geek reaction over a figure at the end of a 'review'? Because it has a giant ass diaper for a waist and midsection region? Or that awful bean shaped head that's on every mask? Or that abomination of a Peter Parker head sculpt with two pieces of string cheese that's falling over his hair and a hit or miss paintjob? That diaper alone is what drives me away from what's supposedly the greatest Spider-Man figure out there and I'm able to gloss over a fuck ton of problems if they fill a niche. This one dosent. I wanted a stylized Spider-Man that's capable of having a physique similar to what I posted in the reference images. The Yamaguchi Spider-Man fills the niche that I wanted and is the only figure in existence to be able to do the MVC idle pose. With this and the fact that you're able to expand your posing ability with such a challenging figure, I've already got what I'm looking for. In the future though please fuck off with the Mafex Recommendations and work on improving your reading comprehension.

My assumption is more that they wanted to keep a really small and monetarily efficient set here, and when they had to make a choice between Pierce/Leland/Wynegard, Leland wasn't popular enough to justify a unique fat mold, meanwhile Wynegard/Mastermind is probably popular enough to warrant his own solo release eventually. So that left Pierce as a good middle of the road choice to fill out a small Hellfire roster.

This checklist is already super out of date. There’s a ton missing, like most of the recent exclusives.
