>>8387814I like the comparison of selling a $20 target exclusive for $60 to a $350 Kickstarter project for anywhere from $700-$1050. The two aren’t comparable. Is the value of the sentinel going to be high on the aftermarket? Of course. But there’s going to be dozens of people, like you, who bought a bunch to offload immediately when they get them in hand. That’s going to drive price down. Is it going to drive it down to ONLY double the original price? Possibly. It could drive it down to the original price, or even below. That’s unlikely, sure, but assuming even half the people ordered at least one extra to sell, that’s 10k sentinels hitting eBay and everywhere else right at the start. Good luck keeping someone from undercutting you on the price. You’re literally doing that with the cobra trooper if what you said is true. You sold yours for $60 but they are selling for $100. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that some sentinels will sell for $350-$500.
>>8387815Hobgoblin sells for $100 on the aftermarket. Hes a four year old figure. He’s also in his modern look. He would look good given the same treatment as the recent retro GG. Glider that works with a stand, brighter orange and blue, a classic style cape and a more orange head sculpt like the Toybiz one. Shocker also needs his classic look.
Lizard needs a ton of work. Classic head, reworked legs, and a new tail. He’d have to be a $30 deluxe figure. No reason why we can’t have hobgoblin and shocker AND lizard. We also need a new Rhino and ideally a smaller Sandman on the MCU Luke Cage body. There’s a lot of figures that need doing.
>>8387840>bragging about double retailYou snoozed. I paid $7 but I’m still not too much of a bitch to say no to a rerelease. Having an old figure doesn’t make you better than anyone.
