I feel like this is probably it. A lot of Walgreens still have tons of 3-4 year old stock that never moves and no room for new stock. I'm betting a lot of stores just never bothered ordering the Cuckoos.

I dug out my Apocalypse wave Wolverine this week after not seeing him for ages. Boy, all the complaining I did about the inexplicable metallic paint on the Mafex and AY Wolverines, and turns out even Hasbro did it. I can't really fathom why his shoulder pads are metallic blue but his gloves, undies, and boots aren't. It's a weird choice and really stands out.

The 3-pack Wolverine doesn't have the metallic pads, but the yellow hews more toward "canary," and I prefer more of a "cheddar cheese." Also, they merged the tiger stripes into one chunk on that figure, like in the cartoon, and I prefer them as singles.

Those arms are too fucking long in the first place for flying poses. Obitsu stands are made for supporting/balancing 12" dolls, not carrying full figures in mid-air. So you shouldn't be surprised if they break when you use them for the wrong purpose.

If you mean ML specifically, the only ones I have that I'd really say are especially good are Retro Gwen and MCU Jessica Jones with the MJ head that came with that Gwen (I'm not saying no more good female MLs exist the rest are just figures I didn't buy)

Otherwise my favorites are Revo Spider-Gwen and Mafex Gwenpool. Hopefully we get more female Marvel characters from Revo, and they turn out more like Gwen and their Harley Quinn than like Psylocke.

We don’t get Symbiotes often enough to complain about them. The reason people complain is the same as always: it’s not the most mainstream popular thing. Most of the Symbiotes aren’t super creative or interesting, especially since a bunch are just “Character but goopy”, but they sell. Most of them have had multiple comic appearances, unlike fucking Pirate Deadpool, or X-Men Deadpool, or the other X-Men Deadpool.
