I, for one, am happy we're getting SG Optimus on the ER mold (even called it only to get immediately shot down by some other anon).

Siege started out pretty good but I've been disappointed with the selection of guns recently. It seems like they've started skimping on accessories. The accessory pack is welcome (despite just being DLC) but a lot of them are just intended for other characters, so you can't distribute them generically.

I've been thinking about making some guns of my own in CAD. What kind of guns and accessories do you think would make good generic filler?

SG looking back is overrated, only reason it was as popular as it was is because it was AU G1 and it went to shit almost immediately. The Beast Wars prequel series was actually a cooler and much more inspired line and Cybertron's Most Wanted was actually almost good.

So I guess it's confirmed then by the reveal Netflix ER Optimus is going to suffer the same deco problem. The legs aren't fully one shade of colour with grey rearing its ugly head on the back. So the best decoed ER Prime is dead Prime.

God I still don't know if I want him or Netflix Optimus. Netflix versions came with 2 battlemasters that I can't find at all here in Australia and it's a pretty good deal. On the other hand paint deco is better on Dead Prime and he's got the trailer to soothe my base building needs.

I haven't looked but I imagine Dead prime might be pretty expensive now.

Personally the trailer for me is part of the prime package, but feels kind of out of place with DP. It is basically a box with a turret in it, so I don't think you'd be missing out on much.

I love the bot mode but the cassette player alt mode does nothing for me. I wish they gave him something more practical like Siege. I thought Reflector was perfect in this regard because he could form the camera, but also got a vehicle mode.

I took my Siege Ratchet apart so I could dye its parts red. Looking at how much of the Earthrise version reuses the Siege parts, it shouldn't be too difficult to repeat that process, aside from the presence of gray plastic.

You know, Sixgun is really underrated. Everyone is always using him as guns, or frankensteining him into stuff, but I never see any love for the figure in its own right. He's probably the best-looking bot in the WFC lines, in my opinion.

I don't know about other people, but I just find it to be a weak go to whenever hasbro/botcon whatever want to not put any effort into a repaint.

Botcon was especially silly with it considering all the talk about the exclusives they were going to do had they not been cancelled but apparently SG whoever had higher priority.

There was no hard and fast rule that SG characters had to be colored like their counterparts, that was something done in later years. SG Jazz was even done in traditional Jazz colors at the time because they knew fans might want to repurpose him as a "Classics" Jazz (remember, this was before the 2010 figure).

Why does this board move so damn fast? Never would've thought it'd be faster than the retro games board. I kinda like transformers and lego but games are just so much better. I may be a manchild but still my attention span isn't what it used to be.

Weird thing about Shattered Glass is that the Decepticons still dont look remotely heroic, and the Autobots still dont look villainous. Even with the color swap.
It kinda works though. The autobots seem like elitist rulers, while the decpticons look like ragtag mutant misfits.
Kinda gives me Small Soldiers vibes.

Not big enough, at best I have about 8 TR Scourge with one LG Scourge, 7 TR Hardhead with one LG Hardhead, 5 Ironworks, 3 Cogs, 3 Sixguns, a fuckton of Battlemasters (I made a ton of them mixing and matching parts), a few extra micromaster sets since they were on clearance, and several Legend Shockwave's (that I wasn't trying to get) on separate ebay listings while trying to get something else.
