That fig is simultaneously awesome and underwhelming. I'm glad it was made but it could have been much better. It would have been perfect for me if the head was just a bit bigger and it wasn’t combined with the neck. Wish the shoulder pads were a bit larger/longer. If it used metallic paint for the red, that would have been fucking awesome. I'm still probably gonna get the figure though despite those flaws because I know they're probably never going to do another one forever.

I actually think it's one of the best I've owned. The head moves really well for all one piece, and while the shoulder pads aren't as long and EXTREME as I would like they're pretty excellent for range of motion. Can't defend not having it all shiny tho

Also should look at current buy it nows as well and price $3-4 below that if you want to sell fast. You also always want to to have free shipping. Even if it's not actually free. My friend was selling Beast, and he wasn't moving, I had him raise the price and do free shipping and it sold in 24 hours.

I still remember finding 5 of them in the clearance isle at Walmart. I was going to wait and just sell the heads later on but after the price hit just over $100 for awhile last year, I sold them all MISB. Made bank and was able to fund half of my collection for the entire year.

It kind of irks me that marvel select always dashes to one up hasbro. Sometimes it's a welcomed improvement, but on occasion it's just a 7 inch scale figure of a character or design of which I already own. I wish they'd make more stuff like the destroyer, things that no one else has done or has yet planned to do.

They tried to do what they do with Marvel Legends, where they release a character with a costume nobody especially wanted first so people will buy it to tide them over for the release of the figure they actually want. This works for Marvel because those are mostly iconic characters that people actually don't mind having multiple of for the most part.

Nobody wants multiple of the same Overwatch character unless it's of a specific skin that's really popular, and Hasbro didn't make any of those, just the standard repaint skins mostly.

It might be, though if you found that on some eBay listing from China it's probably just a mold test that they're trying to pass off as a prototype. I mean, in technical terms I guess it counts as one since they made it just to test the likely stolen mold, but it's not going to be an actual authentic production prototype.

Nope, it’s just a normal gun.

There are a couple of reasons he carries it. The main reason being he’ll use it against an enemy who doesn’t even dignify a response with his magical or scientific abilities.

The second reason is that it’s a backup. If, for whatever reason, all of his other powers fail him, he can still put a bullet into the head of his adversary.

Third, it looks cool. But seriously, leaders often wear swords and firearms as more of symbols of power than actual weapons to be used in fighting.

I am quite, but I'm kind of with you on the head, or at least if that alt head was also a regular hulk one (I like the grimace, but I don't even know what the whole cosmic hulk deal is). Hopefully MS can keep hitting these nice pieces out, with Silver Centurion and Hulk. I just need to find a place to buy them, because there doesn't seem to be that many places to buy them at MSRP here. I'm personally hoping for a nice Wolverine with all the updates to sculpt quality and articulation that they've been adding.

There's always a chance that if he's in a situation where magic doesn't work, then the other guy doesn't have it either, or at the very least, doesn't have magic that specifically stops bullets. Anyway, Doom may be regal and dramatic, but he does have a slightly pragmatic side.

Also, he can tell himself that Reed Richards isn't smart enough to carry a piece.

I’m not a fan of barbell joints but I think people are just starved for a decent comic venom. Monster Venom is great but the Hyperion body just sucks. I don’t see them using a movie mold for a comic figure though, that never happens.

Barbell-style double balls are typically good because they are easy-to-manipulate and have a relatively wide range of motion. It's far better than a standard balljoint in most cases.

But Hasbro kinda struck gold with their combo of hinge + balljoint, it gave simply absurd up and down neck range. When you have something that good and unique, I dunno why you'd try to switch it up.

Import stuff benefits from using barbells but they make them thinner, which adds range and lets you maintain the length too, so it doesn’t fall apart. I’m not sure Hasbro has the QC to make the barbell joints super thing though.

Having been to several other states across the union, I can honestly say that HEB Kicks all other chains’ asses for groceries. They’re super focused on that end. Randall’s, Kroger, Fred Meyer all have some additional thing they try to capitalize on.

You’ll find a pretty good selection of toys in an HEB Plus, but either a limited or no selection at any other location. The two nearest me have interesting concepts of toys. One just carries yard toys and seasonal outdoor stuff, while the other has a single end so to fill with Barbie, hot wheels, a couple of games, and Star Wars black series.

TLDR, semi sequel to Superior Iron-Man

Rust is the remains of the Endo-Sym Armor that managed to survive the events of Secret Wars. It imprinted off "Superior Tony" and awakened off the coast of San Francisco, where it latched onto a sea lion and made it's way back to land. The Armor would attach itself to several different animal hosts to avoid detection until it arrived at the closest Stark storage stockpile.
Upon arriving and breaking in, Rust discovered the stockpile was storage for old and damaged Iron Man armors, though all the armors had missing arc reactors. Rust use what was available to create a power source for a damaged Model 4 armor, as it wouldn't take much to power it. Rust began calling itself "Rust" after noticing it's body is starting die and when it attached to something it started to slowly erode or decay. Rust decides that it needs to find Tony and find a way to remerge with him in order to survive.

Even as someone old enough to have fond memories of Kenner 5PoA figures, I'm not sure I get the appeal of these kinds of retro re-releases, unless you're really desperate to replace figures from your childhood you no longer have and they've become too expensive on the aftermarket. Especially since effectively ten bucks each feels expensive for these, given the kinds of figures you can find these days for less than that.

Or, and this is like the dumbest most unlikely to happen thing I could possibly ever ask for, do a re-issue of his right fucking arm, because for some reason that piece seems to be super fucking rare. Every piece can be found on ebay at any given time for reasonable prices, except for the right arm. The cheapest I've seen it ever go for is $60 and the most I've seen it go for is like $110. I've had and have the money to buy it and finally finish my Rhino, but I have this lingering feeling that the moment I buy the arm, a re-issue will be revealed.

There's several things here that I don't like.
First of all, the price is too high for 5poa crap. They're smaller and come in 2-packs, but I still can't justify $20 on these. Even if they were single-packs, these do not look like $10 figures to me.
Secondly, the sculpts still look a little too modern-styled to pass for an actual vintage Kenner figure. They wanted to make a "what if" scenario of Kenner having had the license back in the day to make Marvel figures, but the style just isn't quite right. Maybe if the heads were smaller and the physiques a bit more muscular, they could pass for something from back then. I don't know, it sounds like they're trying to compromise between people who like vintage figures and people who like modern figures, but I can see this coming out that they're pleasing neither side. But I shouldn't be speaking for everyone.

They're removable apparently, they're just glued in a touch by the gun trigger guards. Shartimus got them out with a little heat and having to snap the guards a bit. But They were free after.

I'm pretty okay with them not being as janky-looking as actual vintage Kenner stuff(I still laugh over buff Alan Grant), but it's definitely the pricetag. There's just no excuse to pay so much for low-end toys when today's low-end toys on the pegs are both cheaper and often have more than 5PoA, and accessories.

I ordered what I wanted yesterday and it was Add To Cart. It also is marked as Paid on my order page whereas all my other pre-orders that haven't arrived yet are still in Pending status. So maybe they had a set amount available NOW but are willing to do another run on these figures down the line. Honestly seems fair, very similar to what happened for the SHF DBZ Event Exclusives this year on P-Bandai's website.

Frankly, it’s better than them selling out and then being forced to head to eBay. I’m sure that date is also that far away just to give them time to order more, and presumably will arrive far before March. But it’s also probably Hasbro realizing they should sell as many of these as they can, and not just stick to a set amount and cut themselves short.

They both come in a multipack (2 different ones). Jean comes with Wolverine and Cyclops with his bomber jacket, it's called the Love Triangle 3 Pack. Scarlett Witch comes in an Amazon exclusive 3 pack with Magneto and Quicksilver, deemed the Family Matters 3 pack. The Family Matters 3 pack is currently on a slight discount on Amazon at the moment and the Love Triangle 3 pack is at a similar price on Amazon at the moment as well. You can find both figures loose on places like eBay but expect to pay at least $40 for Jean and probably around $30 for Wanda.

HasLab Sentinels will be manufactured in China anyway. It's possible we get some cheap knock-off without lights, alternative heads and Bastion. Just bare robot body. Thus you only need one real Sentinel and bunch of chines copies. You can even custom-paint them in colors as you like (classic one).

X-Men is popular and all, but I genuinely feel like they overestimated any hype or interest people have in X-Men movie figures. Not that there aren't people out there who don't want them, just that they aren't as wanted as Comic or even MCU characters.
