jaguar warrior and centaur are the best figs of the wave.
I always enjoy an updated classic space theme figure.
Looks like violin boy has a blacktron 2 shirt on.

Is this wave before or after they come in a box? I can't bring myself to spend $5 on a single lego guy, and I'm sure as hell not if I can't fondle and pick what I want.

They've already shown once that they can't pull it off, so I almost don't want it to happen. Some kind of new constraction thing could be nice. Always thought it could be cool with something that combines constraction with system in some manner.

On this, I'm actually optimistic. Amazon is currently throwing money at a nuLord of the Rings tv series and an MMO. Both of which are going to see the light of day relatively soon. Lord of the Rings is too big of an IP to not at least force out the door. While I have little to no confidence in these projects in and of themselves, I have reason to believe the early iteration of these things will garner a large audience. Mainly out of curiosity. Merchandising and licensing will be attached to Lord of the Rings in the next couple of years. That much is clear. Lego has every opportunity to work with Amazon here. There is a strong chance we get nuLord of the Rings sets, and better yet, a chance to reimagine classic Lord of the Rings sets. Also See >>8599768. Castle might not have sets. But it is alive and well as long as you build it.

Not flush but recessed. To be perfectly flush the wall would have to be two studs thick with four plates stacked sideways from this same angle bracket.

The thinnest dimension of these angles brackets is one Lego Nit, regular Lego plates are two Nits thick and bricks are five Nits across.

Pretty sure it was by searching for "sy627", though now that I've gone back through my old AliExpress orders I remember the first time I ordered the set I found it was incomplete, notably missing the ISIS dudes. I did find the full set later from another store but the listing was more nebulous in its keywords.

So my armada of aquashark subs is getting bigger.
Still a couple more sets to arrive until i will see how many i can assemble 100% complete and how many i have to repair with parts from my own Lego.
On this pic the two Predators in the back are not 100% complete. Sadly both miss their "arms", but they did only cost 6€ in a set, so whatever.
If the characteristic orange canopy is there and the price was cheap, i'm was fine with it. They will serve as part supply for a moc if nothing else works.

btw im pretty sure most of you know this
but i tried going on a massive search for slightly older minifig series and i tried mom n pop toy stores, and the usual walmart, toys r us, etc etc
one thing i realized is that if you check book stores they always are chock full loaded with them so if ever you miss on a series or are late, go check that,
cause i was able to get the monkey king, the viking, knight etc

The props all had one. I think it hasn't been seen in the movies except maybe the shot where Han first enters the bunker and one rebel disguised as a Scout Trooper stands waiting at the door.
SW Rebels had Ezra use it constantly when he disguised himself and in The Mandalorian you can spot a visible gap on the side of the Scout Troopers helmets in most shots because the hinge apparently is very floppy on the props they use.
The hinge would be where this >>8601961 Lego helmet has a grey circle and line printed on its side.

The theme is exclusive to lego stores for some reason that can only be described as self sabotage
Honestly the best thing to do is just buy the minifigs through bricks and pieces, you can get most of the regular cast excluding monkey king (a couple parts are unlisted) and the bigfig (which is listed but permanently unavailable from what I can tell)

You are a fool anon. I remember getting this set 17 years ago and I still think about it all the time. I think it was my first Christmas memory. It is awesome and honestly probably the best looking playset from LEGO's pre-2010 portfolio. Great Asian architecture (which basically didn't exist until ninjago). An awesome play feature. My little niece likes monsters and tries to play Lego with her bigger sister and ends up using all the girly Lego Friends stuff. Those are cool and all but I want to get her a couple monster minifigs. At least a Frankenstein, vampire, and wolfman/werewolf. I'll probably have to figure out Bricklink and order something but am not sure where to start looking. Does anymore know of some good sets, or maybe there was a season of blind bags, that has cool monsters?

I still have my classic sheet ghost from way back but that's about it.

I've noticed some of the headpieces from licensed stuff being consistently too loose to be used on yellow minifig heads but still fit snugly on other flesh tone heads.

This lot of mixed up used 13 lbs of Lego just sold on ebay for $411.00 plus $36.02 shipping by Seattle Goodwill. Presumably because it clearly had some of the Cafe Corner build in it. Can any other anons see anything in this lot that would make people bid so high? Those Goodwill employees are so fucking lucky, imagine working there and then selling this shit on ebay instead of keeping it for yourself.

My undersea mining operation is easily this, I hesitate to estimate how much all the PAB cups, parted-out sets and BL orders have been sunk into it. More recently though I've become addicted to making medieval-era soldiers and other figs, ostensibly to fit into my overall canon but it's getting out of hand, this last round of BL has to keep me for a while heh.

My 5ft+ LEGO flagship weighing in over 30 pounds. Keeps going in for a refit. It's a carrier with interior, specialized uniforms made with unique pieces are expensive. Baron von Strucker hydra uniforms for the crew, Rinzler helms for the elite "Spectre" special forces. 12 multi-role space fighters and 3 gunships for the airwing which alone came to a cost 300 dollars before mid-life cycle upgrades of their own. It's got mindstorms functions for the CIWS battery and I'm working on motorized spinally mounted main cannon. It's my pride and joy.

I've also started on a castle. Compared to some castle MOCs, or even my own SHIP it ain't shit but I'm building a central keep on a 32x48 raised belville baseplate. I'll be surrounded by tall 6 foot thick defensible walls. It features machicolations, a large custom garrison force and is fronted with by a proper gatehouse - complete with double portcullis and muderholes

I went with the yellow and trans-green scheme cuz yellow is pretty much a standard for undersea industrial applications, while trans-green is my favorite of the trans colors and the two work well together. 80s-90s space/underwater feel is definitely what I'm going for.

Also I meant to point out that on the US show, it wasn't a spiteful cunt doing the judging, it was actual Lego designers Jamie Bedard and some tall lady named Amy who is responsible for most of the Friends sets I guess. They were nice to everyone and Amy even cried when some people got voted off the show. Also, the contestants seemed to really get along and enjoy each other's company and became like a happy Lego family and all came back on the finale episode for good feels.

Heh my bad, though I can't be the only one, it's also SP2's trans color after all. Did manage to score a fairly rare dome piece earlier this year, thought I might have to cave and source it internationally or buy the one set it came in (6180) but a listing showed up in-country. Seeing now that another has become available but I only need one, no sense getting greedy heh. Still debating whether I want to try and get some of the large quarter-dome panels that were unique to 6199, ideally I'd need four but can only find three in-country for non-rape prices (and two of those are 20 bucks apiece).

Between my cheap capera and poor lighting it was difficult to get decent interior shots. The ship is one massive sensor package, with multilayer steath systems and additional thrusters for sudden evasive maneuvering. The two minisubs can either be remotely operated or crewed, though they are so cramped that this is rarely done.

That big beast was an idea I'd been tinkering with for a while when suddenly the pandemic hit and I had a whole lot more free time due to being laid off. It ended up being the largest ship in the fleet, for good reason: the mining operation is interstellar, necessitating the conveyance of every vehicle and module to the excavation site. Previously I'd just handwaved this as an unseen carrier ship, but then I figured why not go ahead and build one. Took inspiration from the classic Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane for the overall design, with the necessity of building it large enough to accomodate every component of the fleet, less the independently space-faring craft of course.

It was certainly the most challenging build of the fleet to date, particularly with modifying and testing all the vehicles and nominal arm configurations. This power generator module came late to the party and is rather heavier than the other modules but can still be carried adequately.

The carrier, freighter and fast courier are interstellar and undersea travel-capable; the exploration ship is space only but can land on water; the rest of the craft are all undersea only, with some modules only rated for positional/emergency maneuvering. There is another vehicle planned, an exo-suit carrier that I haven't decided yet whether it will be compact enough to fit the carrier or large enough to require interstellar configuration.

I must revise my compliment a bit because I now realize that the carrier has a traditional front like a spaceship or 90s sub. At first I thought the overhang with the many little arms was the front, and that made it look a little more outlandish, organic and squid-like. But still a nice variant on the traditional 90s action sub build. Love the versatility and functions.

Have been buying rare figure parts for years to make some customs and it feels very similar since I have finished close to nothing and it all hinges on me getting a printer that can do metallic colors on decals which the times I checked costs as much as a used car. Wonder if I might not have overdone my stockpile, if I will ever use up my black and fleshie hands or ever figure out a good presentation for all of the characters I have in mind.

I recommend you try Stud.io. As someone who mocced terribly unstable shit as a child and teen it really helps with the previsualization. Having all existing parts available instead of having to think within the borders of ones own collection was a freeing feeling. The only downside is having to guess the stability of the construction of large stuff which can be solved most of the time by just using more layers of parts.

I appreciate that, anon. I was waiting for over three hours on them working on a simple flat tire. The parking lot there was filled, so I do understand being busy, but I ran out of places to walk to and my shoes started to scrape my ankles as I walked near the end of my little hike to the various stores could get to, so a less than favorable day became less and less favorable as time marched on. Hey guys, I have the opportunity to get a rather big lego collection but several things concern me. First of all the stats. The price is 700€ and the content are the following sets (all used and without the original packaging or manual): Millennium Falcon 7965, AT-AP 75043, Z-95 HEADHUNTER 75004, Pre Vizla's Mandalorian Fighter 9525, Imperial Star Destroyer 75055, Rebuplic Gunship 75021, Poe's X-Wing Fighter 75102, Sith Fury-class Interceptor 9500, B-Wing 75050, Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle 8096, X-Wing Starfighter 9493, Amored Assult Tank 8018, Anakan's Jedi Star Fighter 7669, Jedi T6 Shutte 7931, Sith Nightspeeder 7957, Republic Swamp Speeder 8091, Battle of Hoth 75014, Lego Ninjago: 9444, Lego Ninjago: 9442, Lego Ninjago: 9449, Lego Ninjago: 9457, Lego Pharao's Quest 7307
According to Bricklink, those sets, used, will go for over 1000 bucks. But the thing with Bricklink is, some sets stay there for years. It is not representative of its demand, especially those 20-40€ sets collect dust like crazy. Also, since the packaging is lost and the sets are used, I figure they lost most of their resale value (should I get bored of them and rid of them to buy other stuff). Also, the damn price. 700€ for fucking Lego is a lot of money. I really don't know what to do.
What would you say, is it a good deal?

Yeah she has a similar story about nothaving lego as a kid. Now we have an overabundance of lego and she mostly loves it. She doesn't do a whole lot of free building, but I'm hoping to get her into that down the road. We even had lego at our wedding. Have nowhere to put most things right now, so I have bins of parts and completed creations all around the apartment.

If only this fig had dual molded arms with white on top and black on bottom. Then it'd literally be the perfect fig. The Scout Trooper has a large amount of white armor on his arms, so having them be bare like this just looks bad.
