>>8662162>complaining about tiny little dots that are all but impossible to see except in macroshots and eyeball levelI always like how you guys use that photo to say the paint is awful, yet people praise the low resolution print jobs where the dots are just as big... but in contrasting colors, which makes them stand out.
Yet those tiny little defects are the same size, but few in number, the same color as the rest of the face, making it all but impossible to see.
Some companies add same sized dots sporadically, but in slightly different colors, to give the appearance of a face, which normally has defects as well. Mezco, Hot Toys, etc etc.
There's a reason why most reviewers praised the shit out of McFarlane's toys (including that One Punch Man) and companies who used to use full paint apps, because the defects are all but impossible to see because they blend in 98.1% of the time.
Every single company who uses any sort of paint will have the same defects, even when applying spray masks on colored plastic today. 99% of people never notice or overlook it. IT exists on 99.99999% of toys and only shit like Gunpla and Green Army Men don't have it, because they ONLY come in colored plastic.
>>8662275Yep, defects like that have always existed and never stopped.
I'd rather have unnoticeable shit like this than noticeably lower budget colored plastic
