They had Hellcat in Jessica Jones and they could have used S2-3 of JJ to set up Hellstorm and a huge number of Defenders villains for later usage in the Defenders: Ruby Thursday and the Headmen, Vera Gemini, Xemu, Six Fingered Hand, Zodiac, Badoon, Lunatik, the Pressence, Professor Power, Elf With A Gun that could then be used in Defenders.

I'm hyped to finally get Xemnu, these casual Youtube reviewers for the most part really should study up on some Marvel. I realize it's not possible to memorize every single character, but come on. Classic Hulk villain that has even appeared on the kid's show. The only one in this wave I think could be better is The Hood. I feel Hasbro goofed up the design for a Live Stream gag. The actual hood shouldn't be removable, they should have approached it the same way they did with Doom's hood. The color of his costume seems off as well. I'm hoping the villains line allows them to insert a new Jigsaw, Mandarin and Mister Hyde.

Yup. It honestly looks terrible and will be awful to pose in any way that doesn't make it look worse. If they wanted it to be removeable, just include an alt-head or something with the main cape plugged in the back.

I imagine Sentinel was cheap, to encourage army building, and get people hooked in the first place. Galactus will probably be $400 at least. I assume he’d come with some heralds too: I don’t think I’d be interested in Surfer again, since I have zero notes for the existing one, but Nova or Firelord would be awesome.

Im surprised they've lasted so long. I havent really seen anyone make much of a fuss about them, yet they're a few waves deep regardless. I think they're neat cheap toys. Definitely out of place in the modern toy landscape however. Feels like the kind of thing you would have seen on shelves in the mid 2000's.

Was convinced I had accidentally thrown out Spider-Woman's regular right hand. Completely emptied a storage bin looking for it and no dice.

Got Jocasta in yesterday and I temporarily placed Jocasta's spare hands onto a white shelf. And hey, there was Spider-Woman's hand at the exact same spot on the shelf, haha.

Two catches:
>The sentinel was actually about 500 bucks (plus or minus shipping, a couple of spare heads and two fairly basic extra figures)
>The sentinel did well as expected because army building. Galactus does not have this built in budgetary bonus, and represents a bigger production risk.

If they do a very special edition of galactus, people are going to expect him to be big enough to pose holding the silver surfer in his hand (more or less) so he's at minimum haslab sentinel sized.

I’d rather have the pins. With Hasbro’s QC being what it is, pinless makes it that much harder to fix a figure if the joint is frozen or super loose. Plus, I also customize figures, and pinless are impossible to take apart without permanent damage.

The closest we've had was the Toy Biz one with the pumpkin permanently stuck on his hand, and even then I think it was a lot darker than it needed to be. Aside from that I think the old Secret Wars figure had an even better face sculpt which is sad given it was so old.

Hasbro makes figures from concept art so they can release when the movie does. Movie then changes the art and Hasbro already has figures in production. Happens to MCU figures all the time. Then they release a more accurate figures years later, like the Thanos and Children Amazon set.

Thanks to the BST, I finally got my hands on a retro Hawkeye. I've loved this character since I first saw him on the Captain America & The Avengers arcade game as a kid and he's gone on to become one of my favorite Avengers, so it's great to finally have a representation of his classic costume in my collection (even if it is on the Bucky buck).

If the Red Guardian in Russia is like a known superhero who just retired, maybe he has his own action figures or something.

We saw some action figures of like Thor, IM etc in Agents of SHIELD which takes place after The Avengers so its not out of the realm of possibility for heroes to actually have action figures of themselves in the MCU.

I like him a lot. Best articulation on any Thanos I’ve seen, although the skirt is slightly limiting forward range, and the biceps barely hit 90. He has some shading on his blue parts, which is unexpected, but he looks great. My only issue is that I would’ve preferred getting a fist Gauntlet hand instead of the old open Gauntlet. I also would’ve preferred getting a smiley or stern head to King Thanos, but his standard expression is good.

Technically yes. The original Spider Gwen uses the teen body. This mold has new feet, a new head, and new forearms. The Spiderverse mold has a new torso, new heads, new calves, and new feet.

Rumor is that they have a deal similar to what Gadot had with WW84 where ScarJo gets a cut of the profits in exchange for taking a huge pay cut to star in it. If they put it on Disney+, they either risk pissing ScarJo off so badly she never does another Marvel/Disney film again or they pay out the ass and then some, ala Gadot, to compensate her for what she will lose not getting a cut of the theatrical release profits.

Also, Eternals HAS to come out in theaters, since it's the first film of the Phase 4 block of releases and the entire super woke direction of the MCU going forward is banking on it being a huge GOTG level hit. I ordered the whole wave as soon as it was up for preorder on Amazon. Still waiting on Moira and Jean but I got everyone else and they're all really nice figures. Cyke is just your average Buckycap mold so nothing new or fun with him except for his alternate head with blast effects. Magneto comes with tons of hands, need to find a good custom cloth cape for him later down the line though.

That wasn't necessary because it lead to nowhere. There was no cathartic moment that couldn't have been handled differently if they had only used Agatha.
