fake (?) chogokin

Bought this pre owned Drossel Chogokin. I noticed that the eyes are transparent. Other than that, everything is completely fine and legit looking. That parts that are supposed to be diecast are diecast. But all figures I've seen online with that head have blue eyes. The other optional heads that came with this one have blue eyes, as they should.
Thoughts?

The blue could've faded overtime I guess, but the way it's assembled having her twin tails on the opposite sides makes me think bootleg.

no, they're removable and interchangable. i just didn't put them in properly until I took the picture.

You mean with exposure to sunlight? The other two heads have blue eyes. Maybe the previous owner never used them, and the figure is legit after all?

I guess the colour having faded would make sense. On the other hand, it's the only figure I've seen without blue eyes. But I haven't seen any information of there even being fakes of this figure. The box had some water damage. Maybe it had something to do with that?
I don't care if the figure is damaged. I'd just love to know that I haven't been ripped off.

I don't think there's chogokin bootlegs. It's also weird for the eyes to fade so perfectly. I guess it's just a manufacturing error, they either forgot to paint them translucent blue, or if the plastic was supposed to be that color they forgot to add the dye to the mix. All in all it doesn't look like a fake to me.

I think you might have indeed got rare or even unique version where they just didn't paint the eyes.
I think it's more valuable than the regular one.

Would you keep it? Or send it back?
A new figure costs $230, I got this one for $130. The joints are pretty wobbly, and there's some scratches.

I think it's kind of novel personally. If you don't keep it, be certain of what it is before you do. If it is a factory error and not some kind of damage or 3rd party part, someone might pay good money for it. And then you could just buy a new one most likely.

If it's just fucked up, or a replacement part, it's still probably worth what you paid. But you'd be completely within reason if you just got your money back from the store.
