I picked up MMPR lightning collection blue ranger from the shop today, as my first PR figure.
My aim is to get all of the MMPR team, and some villains if I can wrangle it.
The only ones in stock were MMPR Blue, Time Force Red and Ranger Slayer Pink.
Am I out of luck if I want the OG's, is my wallet doomed to be destroyed on the scalper market?

I am getting Dino Thunder for a complete Tommy display tho, but the paint apps on those guys has been pretty grim so I may not complete them. DT White I'm hoping for a reissue with the correct head--I could see them doing a 2-pack with White and Mesogog, since those twofers seem to be themed most of the time. Maybe Trent and Tommy? I dunno. I may bite the bullet but I don't like my chances to get a replacement head, as I don't live in the US and I doubt Hasbro would ship it to me.

I actually love Super Sentai & have almost always hated Power Rangers, it just feels like the toy sales never do well compared to Kamen Rider & it never gets the attention that Rider does, just makes me feel like it’s not going to last for much longer

You might be right about those things but a) people have been saying this for a while, I think as far back as when Disney bought the franchise, and b) Hasbro seems like they’re trying to turn things around, at least on the tv show front. Hopefully Beast Morphers was just growing pains and we get the Dino Fury team relatively quickly as toys.

Time for science. Since I bought into the Legacy MMPR team and Lightning Collection I'm trying to decide on a way to incorporate both into my display so that I don't feel like I wasted money buying the Legacy figs. Decided to try a couple of the actor heads on Legacy bodies, they're small but the actors used to wear large white collars for unmasked scenes back in the day that made their heads look small, and it kind of replicates that look to me so I like it. But I'm not sold on committing to it, I'd like to see what the board's opinion is on it before I swap the rest.

Why not just sell the ones you like less? I sold my Legacy when I started getting LC and I dislike LC so much I sold those when Super7 announced their line. If I dont like the Super7s I'll probably skip them and just buy 1/6 or something

My hopes were diminished by solo Z Putties and Tengas. Though the Rita Putty was originally released with Green Ranger, so I guess it's possible we'll only get army builder two-packs after an initial release.

I guess I'm lucky because I have a local toy store that always has Lightning Collection in stock for $20 a piece or less. That's how I got MMPR Pink.

They currently have MMPR Pink, Ranger Slayer, and MMPR Green even though you can't find them anywhere online, and they for some reason haven't marked them up.

Well they may rerelease them once or twice, but I doubt they'll be the exact figures that were previously released. Maybe a metallic paint scheme.

It's weird that they haven't done a box set with them yet, though, since LC has been going on for like 2 or 3 years now. We got a Psycho Rangers box set before we got an MMPR boxset.

Looking for help identifying something. I found a VERY small edition of the Dragon Dagger today in a thrifty for a dollar; it caught my attention because it's so small, but it's HIGHLY detailed. Pictured here alongside my Legacy Dragon Dagger; the details on the tiny one match up to the big expensive one perfectly, right down to every little line and squiggle on the handle. It's basically a super high quality mini replica dagger, and I want to find out what the source is, because the scale seems so weird - it's six inches long, the same height of a lightning collection figure. There's no electronics or pushable buttons, so it's just for display. Can anyone help identify the source of this little dagger?

It's a Zyuranger High Proportion Collection Zyusouken, it was a gatcha series from a few years back. Also had the bucklers for green and red, and they did a Byakkoshinken/Saba in a second series that they sold in a box instead of gatcha. Weird thing to find in a store, but a good score even if incomplete.

Something so disappointing takes real time and effort, they have to train people who nothing of power rangers how to ignore everything they are taught about power rangers. And even then they have to completley ignore the howling fans and let marketing folks just let some kid pick the waves or just hire homeless folks as focus groups and playtesters. Did anyone have trouble getting Tyranno Sentry? I was twenty minutes late to both Target opening it up and Pulse doing the same, but I still snagged one from each. He didn’t exactly sell out quickly.
