>>8898070There is a bit of a change to the stomach, but it's a lot less dramatic on the actual model than it is on that art (and from the images I saw of the prototype, there were always joints at those points on the stomach, they just seem to have tried to emphasize them on the paintwork for the finished version for some reason). But the rest of the design is still, again, identical (discounting paint differences that don't matter because, again, model kit).

I do actually kind of agree on the wings thing though, I didn't like the rounded-off ringwings originally but they kinda grew on me over time, and the wings they changed to aren't accurate to the comics (which, let's be real, is the only version of the character people care about) either, so I'm not sure why they changed them like that.
I'm not sure on the final version actually having a larger profile, that may just be the final version being emphasized by making it larger in the art. I'd want to compare the actual models before saying the profile is definitely bigger on the final one.
