I think they are the picture is just a bit streched. Each square is made out of two 2x4 tiles making them 4x4 (because 4x4 tile doesn't exists)

No idea, but the lines bug me a bit too. I would've used four 2x2 tiles but that means it would've made the piece count 1004 instead of 876.

I caught up to 13 seasons of the show in the latter half of 2020, partially out of curiosity to see what the hype was about and I think a big chunk of masochism was involved as well. It's clear to see after which season they should've pulled the plug and tell the autistic fans to go fuck themselves.

Yeah I remember back in 2010 seeing some teasers for the line and thinking ninjas would be cool. I never followed it though so I was so confused why the ninjas were driving vehicles and whatnot but still fighting with katanas.

Semi-related but I realised back in May last year that I've been feeling CMF bags for over a decade now. Where did the time go? Back then CMF hunting had a much better community; some of it is still here but it's largely died off with Lego releasing way more unique minifigures in general and the constant price rises.

The high quality ones are assimilated into my collection. I always make sure only genuine bricks are on the outside of anything I build, that way no one knows my moc is composed almost entirely of non-LEGO pieces. No one here or elsewhere have ever noticed or said anything.

I don't like harry potter at all, but this looks like a cool castle (unusual for harry potter sets, they usually just look like tan bricks). I could buy two and arrange them as a more complete building. Hopefully could sell the new and gold figs to people that pay way too much for figs and make a good amount of the money back

If you aren't setting max prices for your parts already, do so. I also specify used parts unless they are something that must be pristine like a fig, printed, or transparent piece

This is true (and also true for chrome toys of other companies), and while it sucks that those swords and crowns of the 90s medieval sets lost their shine after heavy play (mine too), how much "play" would those insides of the space shuttle doors actually suffer?

Comparing chrome parts on actual "toys" like those famous swords with special chrome parts on collector display models is quite a difference.

I would love to see chrome items in the 18+ sets by Lego, but they probably think stickers are good enough for their adult collectors audience.

And yes, as someone who collects toy cars I know how easy it is; look at almost any HW casting where they made the body's primary color chrome.

Assembly square is cool, and you'll want to get it before it retires. Though it's missing a little something special besides just being big
The police station is cool with the several thin builds, but I don't have it myself because I don't care for it
The garage looks like ass if you've seen it in person. Gross color choices and boring detailing. A shame, because a corner garage that cars can pull through is a fantastic concept

Because it's too hard and complex to make a physical product. Especially when your company has a 70 year history of making physical products.

It's always good to base your sizes around a set piece. In the case of a living room, build your sofa and then go from there.
Lego scale is so variable. Sometimes it's accurate to scale, and sometimes length and width are 2/3x to give enough space. Just gotta build it

also keep in mind if you want your livingroom in an actual building or just as a diorama.
Getting a livingroom in a house will probably be quite the squeeze and you will lose some detail.
In a diorama you can make things more spacious and natural looking without also having to make the house its in xbox hueg
