I kind of get the appeal of dirt cheap "collectables" like ReAction and Pop!, they appeal to either can't afford, or doesn't give enough of a shit about the IP to buy something better. Also, I could see poorfag /toy/s as a way of test marketing a new or obscure IP, in case of potential growth in popularity, or how econimical something worth a damn could be.

Also, a ReAction M.D. Gesit is about as realistic of an expectation as a Prime Studio 1 Spongebob statue

ReAction figs tend to be between $17.99 $19.99. By comparison Hasbro's Marvel Legends Retro Collection is $11.99 a pop.

Maybe he means "cheap" as in made of terrible plastic and sculpted to look terrible instead of in that very distinct 80s way like joes or star wars were.

I wanted to pick up some of their terminator stuff, as well as the John Carpenter stuff, but almost every time I picked one up the paint was chalky, the plastic was chalky, and everything in the box was broken.

It would be kind of cool if they made figures for the rest of Iron Maiden's albums. It's criminal that they didn't include Cyborg Eddie from Somewhere in Time. Also are there decent knock offs of these? I wanted their King Diamond but it is only being scaled on ebay.

In that case, I would like to see some throwbacks to Late-1990s to Early-2000s collectibles, which had lots of detail and paint for the time (e.g. Classic McFarlane, Pre-Revoltech Kaiyodo. This Late 70s to Early 80s throwback fad has overstayed it's welcome, especially when Super7 refueses to do vehicles for their ReAction figures (just imagine Super7 doing a M577 Armored Personnel Carrier for their ReAction Aliens line).

Oh no you're totally right. It would be cool if they did stuff like that. But didn't they make that Thundercats ultimates vehicle and charge several hundred bucks for it? I know those aren't reaction figs, but I think the same situation would probably apply. Everything's so damn expensive lately.

I think that has to do in part to how neiche the Thundercats fandom is (relative to Starwars and Marvel Legends). Also, Super7 seems to be a smaller company than the likes of Bandai and Hasbro. But then again, judging by the Ren and Stimpy series, we are just as, if not more likely to see more of other classic nicktoons, than more Spongebobbies. We might see a CatDog, Angry Beavers, all kinds of pre-spongebob nicktoons before Super7 touches MLaaTR with a 10 foot pole, becasue 90s nicklet privlage. But then again, MLaaTRfags are a vocal minority.

Like all of them. But in particular, Power rangers would've benefitted greatly from tiny, articulated figures. Not that Super7 does vehicles, but I could imagine zords that could house Rangers at that size.

TMNT for similar reasons would be great. Alien, Terminator, and Predator would also be cool

However, those licenses seem expensive, and should probably left to more reputable brands willing to do 80sJoe-style figs. If we did our own 80sJoes, we should either do OCs or cheaper and/or obscure licenses. We could fill some neiche, and could even be the first to come out with an M.D. Geist fig.
