or it's Huckebein. Safer choice being a Gundam clone? I think because they started with Cybuster, the first original unit, they might do them chronologically. I forget which is the second one though (both debuted in 4?). Then we might see Grungust after those. I hope Bandai won't just cherry pick the popular units and like do Alt Eisen next... Eventually sure but I like to see a lineup that's a little atypical.

Huckebein might still have some issues with Sunrise, I know there was a period of time where Huckebeins were barely used in advertisements, and we had the Huckebein Massacre of 2nd OG, but we did get it in V and the Robot Damashii toy as of late so it wouldn't be impossible. Honestly Bandai doing any of the MP units or the various Grungust types would be a dream.

Oh I had no idea about this. Uh, why?? Sunrise and Bandai are practically joined at the hip, makes Gundams anyways and SRW IP is Bandai Namco owned now that Banpresto joined with Bandai. I guess that's why it became okay recently.

So I guess it was only because of similarities with Gundam? But it's still weird of all the places these particular companies were seemingly unable to come to an agreement for like 10 years. And it was more of an anime problem so I guess TV rights things are more complicated.

Yeah, it's a weird one. They still had them in the games up to OGG too. It might have been because Kotobukiya had the SRW license and did Huckebein kits, and because they're so close to Gundams, it was probably driving some higher-up somewhere mad, doesn't matter as much nowadays hopefully. And hey, we got the ExBeins out of it I guess. And Ratsel's GuarBein.

Maybe. My quick research seems to point that they didn't care about the games, or kits even, but started to care when the anime was going to happen. And yeah, easy fix just replace them with a non-gundam head version. Having them being made by Bandai now, maybe even same engineering as Gunpla kits would be incredible.

Too true on Desast, I'm surprised we haven't see him in the So-Do line. I don't think he's even made Converge yet.

Speaking of Toku, I'd love it if Garo got the Kamen Rider treatment and at least get Shodo figures. It'd be nice to get a decent variety of armors with a few villains thrown in along the way.

Other than that, I wish Mega Construx could snatch up more licenses like Planet of the Apes, Warhammer 40K, ExoSquad, etc.

I wish Mega Construx would add ankle articulation and re-do 99% of the Masters of the Universe Classics line at 2" scale, also picking up Thundercats and Mortal Kombat and wrestling the DC Universe license from Lego.

yeah, but those are like 5-6 inches tall at best, there's so few of these guys (8 autobots, 7 named cons and i think 4 seeker redecos/retools) that i'd collect a whole line of big ol chunky ones. threezero's done op, bb, blitzwing, soundwave/ravage and is rumored to be doing arcee but only one a year when the movie's already 3 years old means we'll probly never see 60% of these as high end figs. not even shockwave or starscream, but thank fuck they did "blitzwing"

Dunno how they'd handle Tessai, but a figma Jubei would be ace. Speaking of figma, the fact that pic related's manga has nearly 300 chapters, three tv seasons and an OVA, but not so much as a nendoroid beggars belief.

Yes and it was pretty piss poor because they didn't have the balls to just make a Blue Falcon film.
I think the new Space Jam is also an attempt at some kinda expanded universe going off of the trailer.
