>>9178037Yep. Sentinel needed 6k to get funded, and then it had a stretch goal for each 1k up to 10k. So we got Bastion from day one at 6k, then the Master Mold head at 7k, then the battle damaged parts at 8k, then the female prime sentinel at 9k, with an additional tentacle at 10k, and a final additional tier unlock at the end in the form of a Tri Sentinel head.
With 21k units ordered, it blew through those goals super quickly. But the price was cheaper, and people were buying multiples. Some were willing to get 5, whereas I don’t think anyone is really ordering more than 2 Galacti(?).
Galactus has a higher goal, higher price, and fewer people are buying multiple. All of that is leaning the HasLab in the other direction, but I’m sure he’ll get funded. I assume they’ll end up showing off a tier unlock after a week or two since the reveal, because backers are slowing down. I’m sure they had at least three tiers planned, and they’re just seeing how quickly he reaches 14k before determine how quickly each tier gets unlocked. If he’s slow, they may even do it every 1k like with the sentinel.
>>9178133I grabbed two, so I can sell one to offset the cost of the other. I intend to take a full video of me basically scanning the figure for any defects at all, and then film myself putting it in the box and dropping it off at the post office. Pretty much the only foolproof way to make sure it gets to whoever and you don’t get scammed, but I’m not ruling it out. Totally possible some asshole buys a Galactus for $1k+ on eBay, snaps it in half, and then sends it back, but I assume the kind of person who does that isn’t willing to have that kind of money in limbo while that happens.
