>long, sinewy, oily and….. alienN-no, yeah, I saw that very unpleasant image on google, was just unfamiliar with the sort of cosmic Marvel stuff.
>made it the main villain of his magnum opusThere was also Galvatron and others, but yeah the uh "it never ends" thing was a forgotten bit of something innocent tarnished by evil from the Cybertronians' war, it's poetic enough that the disappointment of such a rando being the antag is almost forgotten.
>the creature became the Marvelverse’s OracleHmm, I think in Legends, the Oracle repented and became "Primus"? I enjoyed the ride but my head hurt - it'd be interesting that a repentful matrixfren became the guardian for the next generation, although maybe not as much if there was a new generation of evil as well.
Oh also, at least with RG1's Decepticons like Shockwave and Starscream being good people, that sort of overwrites the G2 notion that Decepticons were an evil race. Which contradicted neat guys like Carnivac anyway, the hell Furman.
>Plus the creature’s rivalry with Rodimus was great, even when he was ignorant of the true enemy he threw wrenches into it’s plans by virtue of being himself.I feel a good portion of Hot Rod being shat on was redeemed or avenged by Furman in RG1. He made Hot Rod important in IDW1 in the -ations and Maximum Dinobots run as well, and Marvel had some good- wait
>Furman wrote the Space Pirates! storyFigures. Furman has a few faves, and I'm only catching on now that Rod's one of them. Pic unrelated, it's the clock race that Shockwave and Starscream met. Haha hope you still have this thread open otherwise it'd be embarrassing
