Despite Mattel being cheap as fuck with articulation and paint, they still use quality plastics. The sculpt is actually pretty good. Their scales aren't even matching, but to say it's not remotely close? That's some heavy exaggeration from someone who is overcompensating for something. Like buyer's remorse.
No doubt, because he see's there's a wide difference between $20 and $100, he believes that the quality difference is the same. Factually, it's not, as various companies have proved. I mean, one of the main talking abouts for imports costing as much as they do was the amount of articulation they had, but now that even a children's toy company like Hasbro has increased counts, people are pretending that pins and not having them is some giant expensive feat.
Or when that low resolution sticker they used on faces was something super high tech because a $60 toy used it, despite the fact that as far back as the mid-00s, children toy companies were using it first on $7 toys.
The differences in quality and cost arent as wide as you need to lie to yourself and others about.
