What was Batman 70 years ago isn't the Batman that is today, muchless 5 years ago.
How drastic those changes are are basically the same we see in the comics.
I like Azrael Batman and that is one of the most drastic changes, so maybe you don't like it, but it's true to the comics. IT's just another redesign, whether its from the comics or not, it's up to you to decide whether you like it or not.
Personally, i hate all of Mezco's Batman except for their Miller Batman. Love almost everything else they make, because the redesigns are usually great.
