>>9620402I jumped really hard into construx in the past couple months after ignoring them for years. The Warzone pack triggered my interest since there's no real good COD figures besides the Figma BO4 Ruin. It made sense to check it out since it was pretty cheap.
When I grew up, Mega Blocks were just cheap knockoff lego. I was incredibly surprised by the quality of the current construx figures and how customizable they are. I got some sets with more building elements, and the quality of the blocks and actually having decals printed on the blocks was surprising after all the cost cutting Lego has done over the years on their sets.
I've dived into COD, Halo and MOTU sets so far, and am really enjoying them. I'm a bit mad I didnt give Construx the time of day before, because now that COD sets are on the way out, I'm paying a bit too much to catch up on sets I missed on release.
I also had some generic visa gift cards laying around and I dumped around ~$300 CAD into sets from Amazon this week I'm still waiting on. I really want to get those COD shipping containers and recreate the shipment map, but they're like ~$50 bucks each from Canadian Amazon and ebay is a writeoff since their shipping rates are totally fucked. I have one on the way, but it was hard to justify.
