As far as the lighting goes, either puck lights, LED bars or LED strips are your best bet. "Something that doesn't look like crap" is highly subjective, so look them up and choose which one you like.

How long did it take to find that image? I've never seen the Hulk that smol outside of the Lou Ferrigino show. His standard height in the bronze age was closer to 7-8 feet in the comics. The Select scales around 9 feet, which is comparable to his 80's/90's appearances.

The select is from some rando zoomerverse where he's bigger than he was in the classic era. It ain't classic hulk. the legends is better for that, both in terms of head sculpt, articulation and size. deal with it.

ML is somewhat scale accurate if you look at older comics, back then Hulk was only slightly bigger than the Thing.
However, ever since the 90s Hulk's size started to vary wildly and it wasn't uncommon to see him stupid big. Nowadays smaller Hulk will be usually seen in stories where he's part of the tram, but that's mostly because drawing a character significantly bigger than the rest is a pain in the ass when everyone has to fit in the same panel.
So you're kind of right, but not quite there.

And bigger Hulk is just plain cooler.
