Only about 55-60% of the US workforce is vaccinated.
Now that the mandate has been struck down and so many big companies (like google, starbucks, etc) are reversing course, there will be pressure for the government to allow exceptions for understaffed parts like the post office.
Of course, they're also letting people order covid tests from the government for free to be delivered by the post office, so that might slow things down, but I don't actually expect many to still be using that method.
Airlines and health insurance companies are now offering free tests (for insurance, can be picked up at local stores)
So I'm betting come may we'll be in better shape for USPS package shipping.
Now, overseas shipping that's needed... that depends on if China goes into taiwan, so be prepared for another poor distribution year if that happens.
That'd be the least of everyone's problems though
