LEGO Ninjago season 16 story aka endgame.

>LEGO Ninjago Season 16 is definitely going to be something special. As we told you in the last summer sets article, some familiar enemies are returning and the ninja are getting golden wingsuits. For several seasons, a mysterious “ Vengestone buyer ” has been a constant topic of conversation. This is the so-called Crystal King , who is supposed to turn out to be the overlord . In the new season, he uses Vengestone (a rock that can inhibit the powers of the ninja) to forge the weapons of destruction out of the Spinjitzu's four golden weapons. To defeat the overlord, the ninja must use the dragon powersunleash to improve themselves and their vehicles. Ultimately, the four original ninja Kai, Jay, Cole and Zane merge into one great golden dragon.

>However, the Overlord does not appear alone and is joined by the villains Pythor, Harumi, the Skull Mage, Aspheera and MR.E. But the five ninja can also count on allies, because not only will they be accompanied by their master Wu, Nya will also return as Samurai X. And that's not all: Lord Garmadon, Skylor and newsboy Nelson join the team. Get ready for the biggest and most epic adventure.

Tried that. There were clearance issues to the point where it was stressing the clip. I tried making the connection longer to avoid clearance issues and it jutted out too much and looked weird.

Yea. I'd have to overhaul quite a bit of thr mech to make the shield work, at after like 8 hours working on the damn thing, I can't be assed to do it. Maybe in a few days.

As for your dragon mech, I'd try to go for a digitigrade type of leg. Pic related is my attempt at doing one. I didn't bother with knee articulation for stability reasons.

Its hard to tell but heres another build that I had to scrap since it was too flimsy

It uses the grey / black technic gear boxes with a single single gear acting as a friction join + a 3 length pin for more stiffness

and using some extra technic parts I can pin in the heavy ratchet joints

Geez, that's sick man. That's way above my skill level. That's probably why pic related are some of the biggest mechs I've been able to do. I always have a hard time making them stable enough to handle large sizes.

Speaking of stability, great job with the legs, but I'd definitly spring for bigger ball joints for the ankle. I've been meaning to fix the ankles of my mech with those legs, but im lazy and keep forgetting.

Also, (sorry to double post about it), but here's an example of digitigrade legs I did after gaining a bit of skill with mech building. It has the articulation at the "knee", but like you said, it's not all that usable anyway. Also, the ankle joint is extremely stable.

The gate starter set is still in discount stores near me for around $10-$15 New. It comes with the star gate pad combo and the three figures. I believe the entire first half of the small packs (blue NFC tags) was eventually sold at dollar stores. The other post is right that a few are harder to find and worth more, but I'd say you should be paying a good bit less than $5 a figure to make it worth the time. Like the picture you posted doesn't seem to have Gandalf. I'm only seeing 4 figures and one build + the gate. $20 seems fair if not too much.

Also, whoever suggested I used a clip system for the shield, thank you, it worked. Apparently when I tries doing it yesterday, I was being retarded and kept putting the clip above the bracket piece when it should have been going underneath it. I reworked the clips a bit, and even gave it storage on the back of the mech. I also changed the knees because the mixel joints weren't stable enough to support the weight of this heavy bastard. I tidied up the cockpit and forearms a bit and now I'm officially done. Thanks for everyone's input on this.

the trans-yellow parts are one of the most unusable parts I have ever owned, they're a so weird and specific shape. Honestly, the only person who really responds to my mech MOCs is the guy who also likes mech MOCs. This isn't the place where people will gush about how great you are, it's more for constructive criticism and getting ideas. For example, I posted my latest mech and how I was having trouble with weapon attachment. The other mechanon gave me advice on how to attach the weapon and it worked. By the same token, he asked for advice about leg construction for his latest mech. I gave him examples of how I did a certain leg style in my own mechs and he was able to get inspiration from that. I'd rather this kind of MOC interactions as opposed to something like reddit where everyone would just be blowing smoke up my ass with no real critique.

I just assume it's because only me and like 3 other people are interested in mechs. If you don't like Lego mechs, or even know how to build one, what's the point in commenting on it? I've seen people post their own MOCs of micro builds and vehicles. I'm not interested in it nor am I good enough to build one, so why bother commenting?

I've been using sunlight to reverse yellowing in old light grey and white bricks and it's worked very well. On the far left in picrel is a severely yellowed white 1 x 2 brick that I got in a bulk lot. Next to it are a new tan brick and a new white tile for comparison. I'm going to leave it on my windowsill for a week or so and post an update. The flag and panel on the right were from the same lot, and also severely yellowed (especially the panel). I've already had them in the sun for about a week and the difference is pretty noticable.

My dream castle theme would be a sort of modular thing, the sets would be modular buildings that you can put together to make a castle, have a wall pack as well, not only would it promote repeat purchases of the same sets but it would be nice to have an expandable castle you can upgrade how you choose, and I mean small fairly cheap modulars like a guard tower, a gate house etc etc

Nice! I think I'm done with it. Woke up and did some minor mods, cleaned up some things, and made the tail even longer (I have a shit ton of mixel joints).

I gotta give you credit man, your cockpit/shoulder design really helped me out. Also, thanks for pushing me to get this damn dragon's mech done. I actually really like how it turned out. I'm probably going to just heavily mod a black panther mech for the little alien guy tho. My creativity is fried after these two mechs, so I need to cheat a bit, lol.

I decided to pick up the Batmobile to gut for parts for my Falcon since it has a good spread of useful pieces. Figured I'd build it first, maybe to get inspired. It feels solid compared to my fragile blocky moc, but that's typical. The launchers seemed a little out of place.
Then a few days later I picked up the Vidiyo car because I like the shape of the base car and it was on clearance. I figure I'm digging these 8-wide black cars. Jesus it's a busy mess of a build though. Obviously it's stylized to have a lot going on with the music theme, but I wasn't expecting the pool in the back. Was all of Vidiyo this extra?

Thanks. I really just copied the leg design of one of my older mechs. It's an extremely solid and stable design.

The build was really well done. Somebody here said their engine wasn't attached to anything? I think that person might have missed a step because all my pieces are petty solid. The roof details are probably the most fragile.

a whole lot of WIP, i dont have a finalised idea im working towards, i just built it to see if i could build a mech and ive been tinkering with it every so often as i get more parts/inspiration
the next thing i want to do is change the neck joint, the head has gained enough weight that it has a very limited range of motion before it just drops with the weight
