Yeah he's pretty slick. Dig the blue a lot. I slightly prefer the show colors but this is a great look too and I haven't been able to get the Kingdom one at all

Are the stickers DIY like they were with Selects toy Galvatron? I'll probably only use a few

Got these boys in just now. I had Steamhammer as a kid so it's really nice to have him again. Limb-bots are alright, nothing amazing but fun enough. Combined mode is a bit unstable but looks great. Also got 'em for like 4500 yen so I won't complain.

I don't get it; were they somehow shittier than Toyhax's overpriced, grainy, paper trash? At least the ones that come with the toy don't cost you an axtra 10 bucks. Whatever happened to Ocean Designs? They were doing really great decal work for MP and mainline.

Since we're getting Diaclone stuff in Selects, would Brave-inspired Selects stuff be a possibility too? Imagine if we got a Legacy Cybertron Hotshot in the main line that was followed up by a Volfogg repaint with a new head and maybe a new weapon for the Silver Moon/Cross

Since Bandai is making Brave toys, I guess that means the ownership of the designs are with Sunrise and not Takara. Maybe you could get away with releasing the guys that were recolored Transformers to begin with if they are billed as new characters.

Brave is weird because Takara owns the toy designs but Bandai jointly owns the show ones. Takara can still make show accurate designs but Bandai might take a cut.

The issue is that some plastics they place a higher value on flexibility to prevent breakage, and those plastics usually retain their color less than the rigid stuff

They made a big shift 4 or 5 years ago in manufacturing locations, around the time cyberverse and wfc started, so it's VERY likely they changed their plastic supplier at the same time
This is an extremely common problem in the car industry. You'll get certain years of cars that aren't worth owning for more than 5 years because the formula for a plastic changed and suddenly parts break way sooner.

Goodsmile is also releasing Brave toys under their THE GATTAI line. There's also Kotobukiya model kits. There doesn't seem to be any problem getting the license to make new stuff.
