Nah, they're a better company but have lost interest. Somehow losing TMNT to competitors cost them a core brand. They gave us garbage "reissues" that looked like cheap bootlegs because they got lazy on paints & mold use. Honestly what else do they have aside from TMNT? They have no in-house brands. I just hope if they go up for sale Mattel gets them, because Hasbro can fuck off.

Anons, I can't determine if this one is a bootleg or not. Looks like a cross between a recolor and 4th model of the 2012 line. It is sold as a playmates product in a reputable mass market store, but I can find this figure on Ali (sold only by one Russian store), BUT I can also find this year's videos on YouTube of this exact *tortuga* as a Totally Turtles series. Wtf am I looking at? Is this an official poor country edition?

Yea it was awesome! I watched FF as it was part of my 7 season torrent as the sixth season. Haven't watched Turtles Forever yet, as it wasn't included in the torrent, but it is on YT so its probably what I have to settle for unless I find it somewhere else.

Still asking though, if anyone knows where to find that, as well as Rise in good quality, I wouldn't mind being pointed in the right direction.

Secondly, no, it's not likely a bootleg. The "problem" Is that the torso ball joint under the overlay is moved forward, which is revealing that back. That whole underside isn't supposed to be seen, the back of the shirt should be flush with the belt, which is where moving the torso ball back would fix that.

That's the inner construction of the figure, not the "actual" look. Bebop and Rocksteady share parts, and Rocksteady has a rubber overlay to give him the chubby form he had in the cartoon. It's like that on Leatherhead, too, you can move his torso forward and see the underneath.

The SH Figuarts are the best. The NECAs aren't bad either, accessory count between the two is comparable. The SHF will be more expensive but they also scale quite well with the NECA line if you want to mix and match. Viacom legally doesn't own the rights to the Fred Wolfe show even though they can make facsimiles of them and give the license to figures that look just like them. So in all likelihood Bandai was sent the modern Viacom model sheets and followed that. NECA was probably in a similar situation but being a local company more abreast of the situation are more flexible with their a sculpts; so the NECA stuff resembling the old toon models instead of the new ones is accidentally on purpose.

Tournament Fighters was directly inspired by Street Fighter II, just like every fighting game in the 90s. It was kind of a big deal.

The poseability for the Chun-Li and Ryu look awful, they can't even do their basic stances. The extras thick lining on the head/plastron on the turtles is nice but there's nothing on the rest of them and it looks unfinished.

I just received my first Super 7, and I am honestly a bit disappointed.

From top to bottom:

To tighten joints, super glue or clear floor polish are the traditional go-to products, you put a very teeny tiny amount in the joint and move it like crazy to make it super thin, and it creates more friction in the joint. Be extra careful if using super glue, you can always add more if you under-apply but if you over-apply there's no going back.

Captain commando: his costume is super hero like. He is the leader of a team of heroes, so in his ending makes sense when he contacts Avengers HQ. His figure came packed with venom, makes sense an intergalactic hero would be matched up against an alien symbiote.

Tmnt x SF is dumb, but fine, now you gotta make it work. You gotta work with popular characters so the match ups shouldve been:
Leo and ryu
Mikey and guile
Raph and ken
Donnie and chun li

I emailed their customer service a picture of the head, they gave me a credit for the purchase amount + shipping on my account to use on a new figure since he was still in stock. Pretty painless and only took about 1 hour for their response.

From the bottom of the bandana upward is a separate piece from the beak/mouth and it looks like it's twisted clockwise too far in relation to the beak. I had another image with some guide lines I used to show some friends at the time but it's not on my phone somehow. It looked worse from other angles which is how I noticed it to begin with. The replacement was just fine though.

I've had pretty good experiences with their customer service the handful of times I've had to use it over the years. I buy a lot of stuff with them though and have been using them for years so that may help. Never had an issue with them, even though they can be slow sometimes. Although other times they randomly get shit in first, my new ML Rhino on the retro card is waiting to be shipped with my PoL already.

yeah must be a circular peg inside. one simple neglected thing like making the inner peg angular and there you go..
or maybe it's like, octagonal, and the mask is off by exactly 1/8th turn. that would similarly be dumb. i'm actually surprised at how well the mask lines up with the face. you'd expect bigger gaps
