I think I saw someone use a simple dry eraser with some water on the Wolverine. Worked well but with his stripes it was a pain in the ass because he had to go in and touch them back up. With Morph it should work just fine without the ISO fudging the plastic.

If it’s on the lighter side, couldn’t you dunk it in some boiling water then bend it to be straight?
I know traditionally people rinse it with cold water to keep the shape but I found that doing that then sticking the toy in the fridge overnight basically makes any shape change permanent. So you might be able to bend it straight for good.

The faceprinting tech tends to leave the faces looking shiny and I've seen people use matt spray to fix that. Not sure how it'd go with really soft pieces like caps or jackets, but it should work okay with the limbs because they're made of the same stuff the heads are. Maybe pick up a cheap figure you wouldn't be devastated destroying to test your spray with first.

I intended to take a crack at making my own cape out of halloween skeleton arms from decorations and some see through cloth anyway. Not really as they don't really change shape. Maybe if they were made of bendy wire. One of them has this weird curve in the middle that I'm unsure of what the intention is for. The figure itself is great though. Not a perfect armor mk1, but I still like it.

They do still make good movies, but they're not all good. NWH was fantastic and clearly had effort put into it, even if some story bits are a bit wonky. Eternals was shitty for several reasons. It feels like to me if it wasn't for some of the moron suits making dumb decisions there'd be more movies people wanted to see and less shit like Eternals.

Strange 2 for example I was annoyed Wanda was just evil. I get why, the book, but they did very little to explain it was the book and not just her deciding to be evil. A lot of the Raimi camera work and the whole Zombie Strange sequence are the sorts of reasons I stick around. Cool fun shit with characters I like you wouldn't see elsewhere. They're not above criticism though and when it's deserved I'll call them out. Same with Morbius which was just bad.

So does this figure re-uses parts from the 2015 spider woman from the Thanos BAF? Personally the SHF overall looks better even if I don't care for how the crotch looks. I'd still rather pay 30 for an ok resemblance than 65. Maybe if I was super into that version of Spidey I'd go for the SHF. Like if there's ever a six inch import of MoM Zombie Strange I'd 100% grab one. I had that much fun with the scene. I've used leftover materials from the four snakes I owned. The green "grass" floor or base I use for my die-cast car racing, or the dioramas for both die-cast and action figures. Using the rock formations and other items work great as well. Plus they can be a heck of a lot cheaper than getting Star Wars or Marvel dioramas from Hasblow.

It depends on what your getting. You can spend anywhere up to $50.00 depending on the size of the item, how many layers or details it has. But a lot of it can be cheap. Grass or turf, vines, rock formations, aren't bad. You won't find extremely detailed trees, or maybe they do have them now? But it's worth looking into it.

I don't see why it even has to be an argument. Imports usually have better articulation and aesthetics even if one doesn't care for how some of the joints look. I can't remember the line but there's some figures that look almost like sentai outfits of the characters. I saw a Carnage that looked more robotic than a gooey mess because of how the figures are designed. ML's thing is the assortment of characters for a cheaper price, but even that is starting to change. They both have pros and cons and them existing is good for everyone.

That man is mostly accurate, mostly due to people who want more obscure characters or obscure takes on known characters to fill out. There's simply no other option.

Another group bought into the line early and so are locked in by the scale. Their existing collection is a chain upon their ankle so even if some other manufacturer made a character they liked of higher quality at a good price it would be tough for them to grab it, because it might be a little too short or a little too tall compared to their other characters.

This is why Marvel Select Psylocke who released in 2019 was still sitting below MSRP for me to buy her late last year in 2021. While Marvel Legends Psylockes, which look like children's toys in comparison and have not nearly the same level of paint, can go for 30-40 used and 50+ MIB. Legends is the more popular line and has the wider selection.

Personally, I don't even feel they need to be filled in. Filling them in would make them look very thick at 1/12 scale, and when looking at the source material the webs are far thinner. That's not even getting into the missing detail like the glove cuffs or shoe detailing.

$70 for a uniquely sculpted figure, with superb articulation, a plethora of accessories and a slavish accuracy to the source material, to the point they include a head that has the eyes misaligned just like on the show, is worth it me imo. If we were talking about any of their MCU Spider Men or even the PS4 one I'd be inclined to agree with you, but it's obvious that Supaidaman was done by the Roku team and had extra love put into it.

If you had bothered to read, I wrote that a 25 dollar figure not having painted webs is less of a problem then a 80+ dollar figure not having it. If you're willing to spend that much, then the company should not be charging that and then decide not to give you the full amount of details that you clearly see from the source material. Otherwise, why the fuck are you spending that much?

There are other companies like Mafex, Revoltech and other lines within Bandai that give you great looking figures, great articulation and don't skimp out on the paint.

It's incredible how much people will defend Supaidaman but shit on other import figures for the exact same problems.
