REMINDER

The Mahri are a downgrade from the Inika, yes, for they were transformed by the Red Star instead of your average Toa Stone transformation. Which means they had lighting as a secondary power and their masks were alive, so no need to activate them themselves. The Kanohi Ignika turned them amphibious and thus stripping them from their additional lighting powers.
The Nuva are also stronger than your average Toa, since they were given a power boost by the energized protodermis in 2002.
However, there's also instances where the power level of a Toa is not clear, for example; the Toa Hagah were said to be the best of the best, even being proclaimed as the "elite". Another example is in Birth of a Dark Hunter where Nidhiki says that Toa Lhikan is "six Toa worth in battle" but we can deduce that he means six of your average Toa, not exactly the Hagah or the Nuva.
Let's also not forget about power ups such as the Golden Armor which gave Tahu all the 42 powers a Makuta has and the Nui Stone that gave Tuyet the ability to absorb a Toa's power within an unknown radius.
Also age and experience has shown to be an important factor in a Toa's strenght as Helryx, the first Toa, has shown to have a superior control of her power than the rest of her kin.

So, with that out the way we can deduce than:
Tahu (Golden Armor)------->Tuyet (Nui-Stone)---->Toa Inika---->Helryx------->Toa Nuva------->Toa Hagah------>Lhikan------>Toa Mahri/Metru/Cordak/Mata/Mangai

I still have these bizarrely distinct memories of watching one of those biotube channels from between 2001-2010 that made those really shit 'stopmotion' memey series that used mostly matoran, and had the kid(s) voicing them mostly screaming autistically (bionicle school style pretty much) when I was way way younger, and seeing this one episode that had what was a practically 1:1 recreation of the movie Teridax, custom paint, mask, build and all used in it

I have never found it again, and mostly assumed I hallucinated the entire memory at this point, but fuck is it a weirdly distinct one that's been stuck with me for years

Shockwave was mostly meant to make games and other interactive content, Flash was just developed to be a low-bandwith vehicle for videos and animations. There was of course significant crossover of these intended purposes between the two eventually.

It's not that bad, although I do wish that the Vezon jaw was hinged, that would allow maximum shoulder possibility.
I also kind of wish he had a molded head like the barraki, but still the same face. As opposed to him having his metru head, but that's a personal gripe.

It's a product designation that doesn't mean anything when the smallest titans are barely taller than later canister sets. 100+ piece count is probably a more reliable metric.

The universe is huge and the conquest of it inevitable. It is time for a new order to rise from the ashes of the Brotherhood of Makuta. I will start a revolution to change the universe into something that will change the society that we live in. To begin my conquest I must spend time experimenting on beings. The Rahkshi and Vahki are models I must follow due to their remarkable effectiveness and design. I have already bought Vahki parts from beings who sell everything and anything the Toa don’t want anyone to be able to have. I started experimentation and discovered it was possible to build purely mechanical war machines, with incredible abilities. The complex design would have to be studied thoroughly and with companionship to make the progress necessary to build one though. The Future is coming for this universe, and I a Matoran am that future.

Vahki won’t really return in the same form. Vahki will be researched and improved, with some changes made to them. I never said that the Rahkhsi and Vahki will return and be as they were before. Research and experiments will be done to them and they will be used as models for new war machines. The Vahki which were purely mechanical and the Rahkshi who are 99% mechanical are just perfect models to follow.

I have very few pieces so I’m working with what I have at the moment. The Ta-Matoran lava farmer is also a side character, so I didn’t spend much time to put much detail into him, but I will try and improve him since there are so many issues with him. As for the context. Toa failed multiple times to protect the Matoran. The Great Spirit has kept everyone in the dark for too long and with the defeat of Mukuta and Hunters, it is time for change. The main villain here will not be generic evil overlord, he wants answers to all secrets and lies and mysterious and he wants them now. I’m still working out the kinks so I’ll maybe change some stuff.

We can all agree that her suddenly being OP when needed in MK11, and her killing Hanzo was an odd choice. It would’ve been much better to have Noob Saibot kill Hanzo, as a sort of ironic circle, since, when Hanzo was Scorpion, he killed Bi-Han, and vice versa. But instead Hanzo is just stabbed once and D’Vorah’s like “Oh, I, uh, they’re all laced with poison now, suddenly!” Then she literally scurries off like a cockroach and isn’t seen for the rest of the game. Plus, Noob Saibot wasn’t really used much in the story mode. It would’ve had more meaning if he had killed Hanzo, but with Scorpion still had his eyes opened after Hanzo’s little speech, and seeing the circular cycle his current path might lead him down.

I will say though, I thought D,Vorah was okay in MKX, she only really because too much of a problem with some of her usage in MK11’s story mode. Her concept is neat, with her being a bug lady who’s technically like a bug hive. Her design in MKX was okay too, then they doubled down too much in the “bug” stuff with some of her MK11 outfits, I feel. But it was sort of silly how Mileena didn’t try to, you know, bite part of her face off with that “kiss of death” scene. That could’ve opened up some sort of unique look, where the hypothetical bite doesn’t kill D’Vorah, but leaves part of her face like a mass of slithering and skittering insects as they try to “heal” her damaged face, or something. Or maybe, like, you know how when you pick up a fallen tree limb, and sometimes it just falls apart and all sorts of bugs suddenly crawl out? If shen Mileena went to go bite her face during the kiss, something like that happened, but then the bugs started to eat Mileena’s face and stuff, and the the bugs fly/crawl back into D’Vorah and “heal” her face from the sustenance they just got from Mileena, like when wasps or bees spit up that gunk they use to make their hives with. Or something.

I'm speaking experience from this too, I have not had a single issueless purchase from that shitty fucking site, either axles are too big/holes are too small, studs are fucked, or details are off-sized due to the sanding

Shapeways does exclusively ABS filament prints, that shit is unbelievably rough for printing anything and it is not optimized for small/fine details.
The sanding process they utilize also is uneven coverage due to it being done via what's essentially the equivalent of a rock tumbler

The only smooth plastic they do provide is extremely overpriced, and even more fragile than resin plastic, and that's saying something.

Site's an unbelievably overpriced waste of time for part printing, and the fact people still keep models exclusively to it now that resin printing is becoming more common place and accessible, rather than making some kind of deal with the various part printers to get a cut, or just selling the model file at a higher price, is the definition of retardation

To give a better illustration of this, I once bought 5 prints of the same mask for a test, and all in the highest refined plastic available for it
4 of those 5 were incapable of fitting to a degree that was unfixable, and even the 5th still had connection issues

This cost me over $100 at that to also put some illustration on what I meant by overpriced

The only thing shapeways is worthwhile for is the rare metal mask, and even those purchases aren't guaranteed

no they dont, their standard material is made by fusing layers of nylon powder with a laser to create the model. they also offer resin printing as well as the FDM printing you mentioned.
if the axle fit is off, then thats often partially on the modeler for getting the dimensions slightly wrong, its a common issue with custom masks.

Shapeways does not offer actual resin printing, they off it for a specific form of acrylic resin that's different from the standard SLA resins used by 3D resin printers. It's both more delicate, exclusively available in a 'frosted white' colour, at least from shapeways, and a shit ton more costly by amount used.
Also, shapeways' issues with dimensions for details, and/or connections being fucked has been an issue for years since people started using it.
It has nothing to do with model dimensions being off, but with the way their models are printed and then sanded down, it causes issues that don't occur when those exact same files are printed via resin printers

I've spent a couple hundred bucks on this site, I've bought from multiple sellers, Exota, Imiku, Khingk, and just randos, and there is consistent issues across all of them regardless of how well practiced the modeller is when it comes to making custom masks

The material is ass, details are visibly offsized, connections are either worryingly tight, loose, or just incompatible, the surface is still noticeably rough despite being premium quality, the 'resin' option is very rarely available and easily broken, and no matter the option used they're overpriced as fuck

Shapeways is pretty much a scam when it comes to needing anything precision-based. Lego is autistic when it comes to their measurements so having a third party company that has no understanding of what their printing is a surefire way to not get what you want.

Honestly I've gotten a lot of masks from Etsy sellers like Drifting and Buryu and they're really good at making sure they fit on bionicle heads since they know what their end-use is supposed to be.

the advantage that shapeways has is that they offer SLS printing, which is pretty much the only viable option for printing parts like ball joints or anything that moves, really. i know there are some newer resins that are apparently good for that as well but i havent seen anyone use them for bionicle stuff. FDM is too rough a lot of the time and most resins are too brittle and will snap or rub off against each other and lose friction

Are there custom mask makers using standard nylon printers offefing to print and ship whatever you ask at a better rate than shapeways? I'd love a printer of my own at this point, but give how new they are and the lack of properly ventilated rooms in my apartment, I don't wanna be huffing plastic fumes making shit. I can pressume that they can remove their armor as well, if they have a stable external energy source other than core on their breastplate, for example in maintenance bay, or in living quarters
