How long do you think 4chan is going to live? I know the internet is young in general so it's hard to tell about the longevity of websites, but someday 4chan is going to be sharing cultural real estate with sites like SomethingAwful and YTMND, and that makes me sad. Can we really have another 18 years of this website?

I don't really know, but I think most people are expecting for it to go out with a bang. Knowing how reality works, it will probably die in a disappointing, underwhelming and anti-climactic way.
