One-Net

No.124298 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Here's my proposal for an alternative imageboard.

It's called one-net.
You get an executable from a friend, called onenet.exe
It installs a virtual network adapter and a service into your computer.
The service adds DNS resolution for a single domain.
It also routes all queries for a specific IP address over the adapter.
The single domain is resolved to this specific address.

The address is 0.0.0.1 and the website domain is https://onenet

Now, the onenet executable is configuring your system in a peer to peer relayed vpn,
which obfuscates your traffic as ordinary HTTPS and makes all origins and destinations invisible-
unless you controlled 100% of the network, you wouldn't ever know who sends what to whom.

Inside the network, the website is hosted in an distributed manner as a database.
This database consists of posts. All posts are either a reply to a thread, or a thread.
All threads have a tag that corresponds to a board identity.

Every post has to be paid for with essentially crypto, but it doesn't have to be bought-
it can be earned by hosting traffic for the network.

Replies are cheap.. Threads are expensive. Images are expensive.
Additionally, if a user pays more, the thread takes longer to expire. There's no boards- only lifetimes.
Anyone can pay to keep a thread alive.

Now, here's how we prevent spam: every post is associated with an ID(ephermal, associated with an ephermal wallet)

the up-front cost to post with an ID is expensive. It's like, a dollar for a thread, 10 cents for a reply.
However, you can earn a substantial discount over time for high quality participation.
Other users can submit payments on recent posts and threads you made which are some fraction of a cent each,
and which accumulate over time into your identity value. They directly impact your cost of posting, but they also slowly
get burned up as you post things. It's like sage but taken to the next level- if you reply sage, the pricing never gets cheaper.
