Why do no pokemon games really delve into everyday life?

Camps are nice and all but you don't really have shit like taking your pokemon to a cafe or even things like contests anymore.

There are a ton of other ways for you and your pokemon to interact with the world other than battling. You should be able to do shit like enter bug catching contests in multiplayer making it a mini game that does not involve combat.

Winners unlock pieces of the bug catcher outfit to use.

Working or drinking at a cafe with your pokemon serving other players drinks. Shit you can do to just relax and earn achievements. Set some cosmetic stuff to unlock for these type of things make battling not the only objective.

Alot of triple A games do shit like this so i cant see why pokemon cant battles can still be the central focus
