Gen 4 is overrated and I will stand by that. They're pretty much unplayable on revisits due to the shitty unompized engine. I would play literally any other gen instead. At least they remakes could fix that aspect but the region is still kind of a slog due to the harsh terrain and overabundance of HMs
Came with a Rain Team consisting of Swift Swim Poliwhirl, Rain Dish Ludicolo, Mareanie, and Sandygast, with only Poliwhirl on level with Slowbro, and the rest at level 23. Klara beat my ass when her Slowbro came out. I probably should have used my Dynamax on Sandygast instead of a poisoned Poliwhirl but c'est la vie. I'm going to replace Poliwhirl with Drizzle Pelipper since its level 25.

He snuck in toxic spikes & stealth rock before the battle?!" > "WHY DOES HE HAVE 8 POKEMON?! HOW DOES HE HAVE 9 POKEMON?!" Of course not for any other trainer, that'd be ridiculous. Only on this ONE rival who refuses to play fair.
