It was one thing that I like stoic men (even though Ingo actually isn't very stoic...) but then they made him a sad ojisan and I still haven't recovered for several reasons. I'll probably be autistically coping on my death bed over the fact they likely aren't going to reunite him with Emmet and he never gets closure and that I can't shatter his pelvis via snu-snu. I also love that he's a polite and caring gentleman who loves to help people and always stays calm. He and Emmet won me over when the games came out over a decade ago because their designs are S-Tier and the fanart helped me like them a lot more. Bit of a bummer the fujos have them in a death grip and I'm a yume but at least a lot of them are good artists who understand their appeal. C'est la vie.

I have him as #2 but honestly... He and Ingo are pretty equal except that Warden Ingo has an advantage for being a depressed old man that DESPERATELY needs some pussy. Still, I like Emmet a lot since he's got a more playful side to him. But I have some trouble nailing down his personality, since he's so blunt and talks less than Ingo. Doesn't help that the fandom tends to flanderize him a ton, either...

He makes my housewife instincts go nuts. I want to make him grilled cheese and be praised by him since he likes it because I made it. I can imagine he's the kind of guy who makes lots of money but doesn't really spend it so he lets his other half spend it all on a date. I wanna be spoiled by Larry. All he asks in return is a mindblowing nursing handjob. He is a simple man, but he has a very cool side he doesn't realize he has which I also like. Also, suit feitsh.

This is where I don't feel so mentally ill over fictional men because I kinda just stick to my main three. If Colress weren't balls-deep in his research I could actually picture him in a relationship. Oh well, he's pretty nice to look at. Maybe he needs a footjob under the table at a Bob's Your Uncle to loosen up.

Short lived obsession but I still think about this guy. His story is interesting, where he picks himself up again and again despite struggling so much. He's slightly cringe and it teeters between being moe and just regular cringe. Honestly he got my attention because for a little while I was having a phase for greying dark haired ossans because of Final Fantasy 10 and Sekiro. Maybe he's a bit like Colress where if he just loosened up a little he would be more suited to my tastes? Weirdly enough, despite prefering older guys, he's a lot cuter when he's younger. I'd say he's also a bit short but imagining him tall is cursed so I think his height is mostly irrelevant.

Honorable mentions (aka I think about them every once in a while but nothing crazy): Sycamore, Leon, Grimsley, Guzma Will, and Alola Red.

It's definetely that and the biggest reason I consider N a top tier husbando. The amount of character writing for him overall is on the lighter to medium side compared to most other JRPGs (and VNs), but it's a lot for Pokémon, especially at the time of Gen 5.

Arven is pretty sane all things considered. He's definitely prickly sometimes and was understandably really mad about his parent (although that was mostly to cover up his grief since he did roughly know what happened to them, just didn't want to admit it to himself), but even when he raises his voice against the Raidon wanting to eat the sandwich for Mabosstiff he apologizes immediately. So he's mostly just tsuntsun I think.
If anything, he seems like the type who would just excuse himself randomly during class one day and quietly kill himself in his room, or jump off a cliff somewhere in the middle of nowhere so his body would never be found.

But in Larry's case, that would be weird because he's an example of an ossan with a full head of thick (but greying) hair unless he has the world's most intense combover.
