>>58267469Megas are a gigantic opportunity cost and you only get to use one of them, as much as I wished to use Megas for the Pokemon I like, there's no fucking denying that if your Mega insanely minmaxed it won't see play or be good, seeing over half the new Megas just be worse than ones we already had and very few coming even close to amazing ones like Mega Salamence, Mega Gengar, Mega Mawile, Mega Alakazam and Mega Lopunny is just incredibly stupid.
Mega Delphox needed to hit pretty hard for it to be good, 124 special attack these days is not cutting it for a Mega and Ghost and Dark types are EVERYWHERE, so just being a Psychic type is typically a massive disadvantage unless it has some insane stuff going for it, and Mega Delphox isn't even one of the worst cases of this as has been said, Mega Hawlucha, Mega Froslass, Mega Falinks, Mega Dragalge and very likely Mega Malamar assuming it doesn't get a special move it can abuse with Contrary, will be painfully mediocre to outright terrible because of wasted opportunity cost.
