But chorewise we're pretty trad; he's breadwinner, I'm house manager. I'm sure the work evens out and he helps a bit with certain tasks. I'll gladly retire to rear kids
those spoiled shits are getting homeschooled and he's a hands-on dad.
We take care of each other as needed. I love how warm and caring he is beneath the surface appearance and definitely crave it despite not requiring much maintenance myself. I like nice people. I want to protect them and return their love and affection. If he's happy, I'm happy.
Once in a blue moon he'll just crash and retreat for a day or so, and I'm perfectly content to hold him while he copes with the horrors of life, offering my quiet presence and support.
